Do it. I didn’t care for Solas much at first and actually romanced Cullen. When I got to the end and realized what he had done, I had to replay it so I could experience the game from the perspective of a broken-hearted Lavellan. It completely changed the game for me. His romance is by far my favorite and every little reaction with him has so much more impact because you know where it’s going.

It has been 6 years already after this song was made and I keep coming back over and over, this song is trully beautiful just as the original, and the lyrics made from something as I have loved and has meant so much like the dragon age franchise, it always have been my confort zone, although not long the best and longest relationship I ever had, had to come to an end, and for some weird reason, I started replaying the whole franchise in the saddest way possible, Allistair losing her warden was devastating and I cried with his final words, even more than the Solas relationship. I am not one to make this kind of comments too often, and this one is kinda all over the place, buuut after hearing it again, I have gotten, once again, emotional and I just wanted to share how passionate this short work of art always makes me feel so much, spledind work and I would love to see more of your work if one day you decide to make more songs. When listening I like to imagine my Inquisitors all meeting up in an alternate timeline and fighting off a massive Darkspawn, Red Templar, and Blood Mage onslaught, my Templar Inquisitor and Cullen at the helm of the Templar defense and Alistair and my Hero of Fereldan commanding the Warden units, my Rogue hiding in the shadows with Sera as a last line of defense for Skyhold with Leliana’s agents, and my Lavellan is just broken, cannot move on and is in a meditative state but she wakes up in the end when the enemy army breaks through the defense, her Mark would spread all up her arm and she’d use a fade blade... I just love this idea please don’t call it cringe...

theirs a scene ive always pictured for Da4, basically for whatever reason our new hero needs to retrieve the severed hand of our Inquisitor, they need its power but it had to be sealed because even separated it was still dangerous, as the heroes are escaping solas appears to claim to mark for his plans but before he can wipe out the uprepared party the hand reacts and portal to the fade brings forth lavellan now reattached to her hand, with tears in both their eyes their magic clashes while the new party escapes as the inquisitor once again stands alone against a God, to give the world a fighting chance against an unstoppable foe
