It's the same singer, the band has just taken their tune and music into a different direction from the way that it was originally. They do have two different singers, one rapper and the one that sings the majority of the song so that can also confuse it. I heard this and almost didn't realize it was Linkin Park at first. A good Linkin Park song with an amazing video is Lost In The Echo.

Sometimes, it's very hard to make videos for songs like this without going all-out political, which LP tries very hard not to do. So, since they couldn't come up with anything relevant for the video without getting political, they decided instead to just stick to the concept of "burn." I don't agree with it, but it is most definitely their decision to avoid politics, and I think no less of them for it.
