I'm sure Burna Boy's team negotiated their terms with the event organizers beforehand. How can you blame someone for kicking others out of their dressing room when they aren't organizing the event? This anger is misplaced and should be directed at the organizers. No one has provided any evidence that Burna disrespected them. They never claimed Burna asked anyone to kick them out of their rooms. It was the organizers who made that decision, likely because they had already agreed to accommodate Burna and his entourage. This misplaced anger seems to be coming from somewhere else.

Some of you don't even know why you are mad and who you should be mad with. Imagine making a reservation at a restaurant, specifying that you need a large table for your party. When you arrive, the restaurant has prepared the table for you as agreed. If the restaurant then asks other diners to move to accommodate your reservation, it's not your fault; it's the restaurant's decision. Similarly, Burna Boy's team negotiated their terms with the event organizers beforehand. If the organizers rearranged dressing rooms to meet those terms, it's their decision, not Burna's. The anger should be directed at the organizers, not Burna. There's no evidence that Burna disrespected anyone; it's the organizers who made those calls based on prior agreements.Your anger is .misplaced.

Everyone just trying to bring down Afrobeat artists whereas Africans have been listening to their music for decades but now that it's time for them to support Afrobeat they are looking for every available means to bring it down and people will quickly believe without confirmation. Burna Boy's v Steel Pulse a moment for all black people in West to open their eyes. There are those who are in Africa, who doesn't pay any attention to culture in West. And those who put them together knows that, it was planned for that reason. It's very difficult to put person who was born in Africa and a group of people who born in the West. 95 of the time the who was born in Africa will talk down to group who was born in the West, I'm not surprised that happened. It just happens to be steel Pulse, for real. And I only hope they can settle their differences, as black people. There is no need for the back and forth between the two groups.

@@davidsonobialor1159 How that you are finished, giving your excuses for upholding dysfunctional behaviours. I would like to thank you for getting in touch, nuff respect you to. I understood every single thing that you have said, because your opinion is based on your mindset, because this is who you are. But it doesn't mean I'm going to take any advice from you on that subject, there are those of our people who was born in Africa, when they come to the west. They come to the west to attention from the white race, not the black race. Black people who are born in West, have been getting attention from the west for over five hundred years. The chain, the beating, the plantations fields, the tree humans, the deletion on the in the houses, on the road and streets, in the rivers and lakes regions, feel free to add to the list of attention we are getting for five hundred years. Is best you keep your silence, in instead of opening your and saying something wrong you have not given serious thoughts. Is not everything that comes to your thoughts, you should allowed to get to your mouth. A man who runs a business trip, should stay on his business to see and know what every single one on his trip is doing. Now, my questions to you if it was white group, would they do the same thing? Answers please. They put our among each other, to see the respect we have for each other as black people. Let's deal with %, 1 out of a hundred, how anytime we have failed? Remember I need answers, because you accused me of taking it to far. Steel Pulse is from England and I was born in England, I have not heard one song burna boy's. But grew up on the songs of steel pulse, they came from Birmingham City and I'm from London city, surly. You have heard of London. All black people on the planet has Root's in Africa. Stop being a advocate for dysfunctional behaviours from our people. I'm looking forward to hearing from you with the answers, of the questions I put you. Now in closing, don't let anyone get comfortable in disrespecting you. While we in West looking up to Africa, those who born in Africa looking down on black people who was born in the West. I'm in Europe and I have never met person who was born in Africa, supporting the struggle of those who was born in West against the system. "They excuses, in Africa they never heard about that black things" in Africa is it's not about black, it about county and flags, tribes, blood lines, names and religions and educational programs and wealth. Because in Africa is not about colour and 95% of them come to the West with that attitude. Let them hit Europe, it's the heaven they always dreamed of, yeah. What are you really mad about? Really, what? Imagine making a reservation at a restaurant, specifying that you need a large table for your party. When you arrive, the restaurant has prepared the table for you as agreed. If the restaurant then asks other diners to move to accommodate your reservation, it's not your fault; it's the restaurant's decision. Similarly, Burna Boy's team negotiated their terms with the event organizers beforehand. If the organizers rearranged dressing rooms to meet those terms, it's their decision, not Burna's. The anger should be directed at the organizers, not Burna. There's no evidence that Burna disrespected anyone; it's the organizers who made those calls based on prior agreements.Your anger is misplaced.

The first question I asked when I heard about the incident is, what is Afrobeats doing at a Reggae festival? You’ve got to mix apples with apples or else it creates chaos and confusion. Reggae is about love, respect, freedom, peace, understanding, etc. We do not need chaos in our camp. These little hurry-come-up pop artists appear on the scene overnight and think that they’ve arrived. They bring the bad boy attitude and bad energy with them and think they can throw their weight around. Give him a couple of years and he will be nowhere to be found on the afrobeats scenes and will be forgotten about. The legendary Steel Pulse band has been around long before burna boy or his mother were born and now this little boy come to disrespect these gentlemen at their own reggae festival where he is only a guest?!! I hope that they were sent packing back to where they came from. The nerve have they!

Burnas crew might have possibly arrived before he was even there. So he might not have known. Nevertheless, being an artist at a reggae festival, he needed to apologise on behalf of his crew in a statement. In all fairness, he didn't do anything to Patrice Roberts in Dominica. Blame the organizers for pushing her performance back so he could perform. If the organizers had any foresight, they would have started the performances that Sunday much earlier. It was unfortunate. But her attacks on how much Burna was paid were unwarranted. That being said, this disrespect meted out to Steel Pulse was more than repugnant. I sent both his mother and his elder sister messages on IG, telling them they need to apologize profusely. His mother and elder sister handle his operations. If only they knew how fleeting this music business thing is. Very few enjoy the longevity Steel Pulse has.

To be fair to Burna, and as someone in the industry, he doesn't get involved in the details of logistics. I'm sure he wasn't even aware of who was in the other dressing rooms. His team likely coordinated with the event organizers beforehand. Too often, black artists are disrespected by organizers/promoters while they go out of their way to accommodate artists from other races. Younger artists are now demanding similar treatment. To some veteran artists, this might seem disrespectful, but it's a debatable point. I think the anger is being directed at the wrong person. However, Burna should have addressed the issue properly when he found out. Overall, the anger should be directed at the organizers.
