Tenor saw took his style from Nitty Gritty. Nitty gritty came out way before tenor saw. Nitty gritty sound like that from long time. Just because tenor saw had 2 to 3 big hits doesn’t mean he originated that sound and style of singing. Nitty Gritty did it first, years before tenow saw hit the seen.
