Discovery's respect for Star Trek lore, reaching back into Voyager and into Temporal Wars for the time bug (which looked like a spider to me too), respect for the costuming of the previous seasons, respect for who Burnham was in an earlier stage of her life. My takeaway was that the way forward into the future is by respecting our past.

1000% agree. They all came out of it with a newfound appreciation, and so did I.

Connection = Trust, or at least helps to develop trust. "Clip show" crossed my mind while watching, but this is so much more. The Airiam scene is both heartbreaking and heartwarming. I loved this ep.

Yes indeed @marg5404. I really have to give the Disco writing a huge nod here for doing an excellent job tying in these different facets. Loved seeing the old crew back. Airiam’s return was heartbreaking, but also great to see the character make a return in such a way. I loved the episode as well.

Why did Stamets uniform swap each time jump and why wasn’t there a second Stamets?

Thanks for the question. I believe the only reason he was able to remember everything is because he has Tardigrade DNA, allowing him not to be affected by the time hops and retaining the knowledge he had from the moment of the first jump. If you remember the Harry Mudd episode from season one, Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad, he has a similar experience.

It woulda been kinda cool if they made it never exist. This show is shite,it’s always BEEN shite and it will be remembered as shite.

Did you watch the episode? No worries. All Trek isn’t for everyone.
