I only knew about Beyblade X for about a month now so I went hard into learning and watching all kinds of stuff about it and this video popped up. It’s really cool seeing how a tournament can play out and everyone has all kinds of beys and set ups. I managed to get one for the sake of having it to try out and I got Phoniex Wing. How ironic before researching into it that it’s considered one of THE BEST beys (I just thought it looked cool)

I like what you are doing with this system. it's very cool to see more beys being used. One thing I would say is that I don't love how much variance the double Xtreme stadium adds. the Regular TT stadium is by far the best and most consistent. The double xtreme stadium really seems to be a goofy gimmick that swings matches in wild ways. Here in Canada I haven''t seen a single tournament put them to use and I am quite happy about that. the amount of times you said in this video "awe xxxxx got stuck on the platform unlucky" That's a huge feel bad in a tournament format.

Absolutely love your content - it's what got me into Beyblade (as soon as I saw it, I knew it would be a great hobby to enjoy with my kids). My question is, if you're ok answering it, why ban the hasbro stuff? Is it availability in your region?

This is so nice to hear! We're thrilled to know that others are inspired to take up this hobby-that’s the very purpose of our videos! To be transparent, we are not supported by Hasbro despite reaching out to collaborate. Unfortunately, Hasbro seems focused solely on selling to department stores and toy shops here in NZ and said stores don't have any interest in hosting events. BBNZ is entirely funded by players through entry fees and purchases of TT products at our shop. As such, we are not inclined to promote Hasbro by allowing their products at our events. This stance may change if they choose to engage with us in the future.

Awesome video! Your tournaments are amazing and your community is awesome! Hope I can travel to NZ sometime soon. A few questions about the format though: - Why is Samurai Saber in A Class? It's been mid in my tests and doesn't top much (if at all) in Japanese and WBO tournaments, plus I don't think it's comparable to the other monstruous blades in A class - Are Cobalt Drake, Dran Dagger and Leon Crest really deserving of B class?

Let us know when you plan to visit NZ, and we'll make sure to schedule a tournament during your visit. 😊 Regarding Samurai Saber being in Class A, it's there because, when built like a Wizard Rod (e.g., on 9-60 Orb), it becomes very powerful. It can outspin Wiz Rod while also having strong early knockout potential thanks to its blades. These blades also act as a shield, cushioning blows as it slows down, making it very hard to knock out. That's why it's classified as A Class. As for Drake, Dagger, and Crest being in Class B, this is to prevent pairing them with A Class Beys in Class C. Additionally, putting them in A Class risks them being overlooked in favor of options like Phoenix Wings, Pegasus, and Rods. The goal is to balance deck compositions so that players are tested more on skill rather than relying solely on the Meta.

Hasbro versions of Takara Tomy Beyblades like Sword Dran, Scythe Incendio, Helm Knight, Arrow Wizard, and a few others are permitted, provided the QR stickers underneath are removed. These stickers can sometimes add extra burst resistance, and having stickers on Beyblades is also against Takara Tomy's rules. Hope that clears things up-happy Blading!

@attackonhumby This is a ranked tournament, and we expect all Bladers to come prepared and familiar with the rules. In any professional-level competition, being unprepared is ultimately the responsibility of the participant. We run our events with precision, similar to an airport. Unfortunately, we can't afford to give players extra time to return to the lobby and adjust their decks. On a typical tournament day, we host over 100 qualifying matches alone. Allowing even an extra minute per round would add 100 minutes to the schedule, reducing the number of games played and impacting the overall quality of the event. Thank you for understanding and helping us ensure a smooth and efficient tournament experience for everyone!

@@sacheshaw2140 Yep! The majority of bladers take the easy way out and run safe beys like Rod or Wolf on Ball. So players who can play Buster really get rewarded. If you run through all possible deck composition scenarios where one player only runs stamina types and the other runs attack-biased beys, you'll see that attack-biased decks will always have the advantage under this system.

New Zealand also only has access to Hasbro Beys (officially), and we face similar issues with supply consistency. To address this, BBNZ imports TT products to support our members. Initially, the ABC deck format was allowed. However, after several months of testing, found that it reduced the variety of deck compositions. It failed to incentivise the use of more C-Class Beys, which is a core purpose of the BBNZ BCS system. This system is designed to challenge players' skills in deck building and technique. Allowing an ABC deck composition will reduce the preference for running triple C decks or C-Class beys in general, it undermines the goal of encouraging diverse strategies and compositions. The director of BBNZ personally designed this system, determining which Beys fall into each class. His decision was based on nearly a year's experience running, organizing, and observing BBNZ tournaments. The decisions also considered data from reputable Beyblade KZbinrs’ testing results and actual tournament outcomes. The BCS system aims to eliminate reliance on meta strategies and cookie-cutter deck builds often found on Reddit, KZbin, and Google. Instead, it tests players' ability to build counter picks and rewards genuine skill. There’s nothing truly skilful about repeatedly running Rod, PW, Dragoon, or Wolf-this system ensures we can identify the most skilled Bladers through thoughtful strategy and adaptability.
