Dunno the environment id very bright and hurts my eyes on the default max. This one turns everything dark but it gets countered with reflections but it's not necessarily to actually put lights on the characters

@@pauloazuela8488 they were referencing Ghibli movies and such, they usually are brighter and less contrasty for the background. I think its more like stylistic preference. Genshin also want you to be able to see things more clear from the environment which is these background purpose in the animated media too to let the characters and moving parts be elevated. Its pretty usefull for a game. When you boot up the game there is even an epylepsy notice, which is usually triggered by flashing lights which would be dulled by less contrast.

Hell na. I've been using just regular Nvidia filters for a while now and the game without them looks REALLY bad to me. The colors are washed and gamma is way too high.

The environment looks fresher, not necessarily better. I could see many unwanted reflections in non-reflective surfaces. But maybe that's an implementation problem.

In all honesty, I expected the post-shaders combat to be blinding, but it looks beautiful! These mods are incredible and very, very well-done. It's tough to find that line between conventional shaders that make everything overly saturated and these custom-made ones that make everything have more style and highlight detail with greater fidelity. What a treat of a video to find, albeit a few months late.

This looks good, the only thing is that the realistic colors of the backgrounds seem to discolor or darken the colors of the characters, which is a problem for characters like kokomi where their aesthetic is appearing bright and colorful. (edit: since people don't seem to understand i meant for people who use the shader. If mihoyo was to make a ray tracing effect in the future, they would obviously account for this and the characters likely would look the same if not better. I knew it was a filter from the fact it was called a SHADER.)

It's never been bad it's actually a little better than most games what makes it bad is when you are on console or low end I remember on console there's so many disadvantage's such as loading is slow,graphics is fixed(u can't control the graphics or you can't change),input delay,etc. And on low end everything is fixelated Tho u can get used to it.im now on mid end and I'm gratefull I can just play this game and met my friend ever since on console.

I remember they massively decreased drawing distances for trees, etc., to lessen the graphical burden in the beginning. Though, this was and still is a distraction when 2d objects pop and turn into 3d ones when you get closer to them...

The mobile one is a downgraded version of genshin pc version. The ps5 one of genshin is almost builded from ground up with few graphic adjustments.

Yeah I was just thinking that. The ray-traced environments look incredibly crisp and beautiful, but somehow alienates the characters a lot. I think it might be the stark contrast of the realistic-ish rendering of the ray-traced environments vs the obviously anime style of the characters.

Wow that’s a bit of an overstatement. I mean RT is doable on many PCs nowadays. I suppose it depends on optimisation but Genshin is super light to begin with, pretty sure any 2070 and upwards series can handle this. Might be wrong there but even a 3060 isn’t some kind of quantum computer. Edit: ok I wasn’t thinking of 4k. Might be more demanding but I it would still be awesome in 2k which is not nearly as demanding. I mean you can run cyberpunk on mant 2000 series cards with some compromises, I don’t see why not this. Again, might be missing technical aspects of unofficial shaders tbh. And being spoiled from a 3090 lol

@@GraveUypo no, 3440x1440p on max settings. I'm playing maxed Cyberpunk with maxed RT and Quality DLSS at 60 fps, so no, Genshin is it's not at 1080p. My pc is not a good metric tbh, got a 3090 at the FE drop in January, but genshin is very light by any modern metric. It's a mobile game at it's core, with some tweaks for PC, but it's still light years from a modern or even 5 year old AA title.

you can always try custom for medium setting but keep graphic maximum however my phone only last 20mins like this before I get lag, then fps drop and heats up the phone (recommended for a short picture only) 🙂

The only issue I see is that, with the enhancements turned on, many surfaces become overly reflective. One example is that the stone walkways in Inazuma appear to be either wet or polished. While there is a beauty to it, there does appear to be some places where the enhancements are a bit too artificial-looking. You should upload genshin's normal gameplay videos like story quest, events or even daily commissions with these stunning shaders. Holy damn i love these. I play genshin mostly for its environment and i appreciate the devs for building such a beautiful environment. These shaders took that beauty on a whole different level and for most of the players who can't play with such beauty, this type of RTX gameplay will be new way to enjoy genshin on youtube as no one upload or stream with such quality.

i don't have the rt shaders, but almost look the same with my nvidia experience gamefilters settings. only 4k really look that crisp details. for those with nvidia gpus, at least 1050ti & above, you can actually improve gi's looks with nvidia exp gamefilters. not just colors, brightness, etc. also sharpness & couple of reshade filters now included in the preset list

from top-bottom order: brightness/contrast, color, details. under details, clarity & sharpness, obviously boost the textures' clarity. of course, with the right value of the rest of the sliders depending on your preference. you can remove the washed-out feel with hdr toning also under details. I'm also using the reshade filter, curves on my 2nd config. most common reshade filters are also now available in nvidia gamefilters.you just need to add them in the preset list. i already forgot the instructions. just check nvidia experience reshade.

I use brightness/contrast filter: exposure = 10%, contrast= -8%, highlights= -1, shadows= -10%, gamma= -24%. It makes the game look visually better

Amazing work! Was wondering if you can do one but using the Nvidia Game Filter. Since I trust that more than I trusting Reshade and the risk that comes with it. Since Nvidia Game Filters are approve by GI. How far can you get with using NGF to get similiar results

Well I have been using Reshade for over a year now with this game since it pretty much came out XD and seems to be fine but I understand that people might afraid of it for their accounts especially if they whaled. Now I would have done or at least tried to get as close as possible to this with Nvidia game filters but unfortunately I don't have a Nvidia card. I use AMD :/ so yeah. However there is another method of using RESHADE with Gi without actually injecting reshade into gi? But only filter presets will work in that method and no depth information is taken since reshade doesn't actually go into gi. That's why it would produce only colour effects and nothing like fog or lighting.

Yes, this must deffinitely have some risk in it, I mean MiHoYo banned people just because they switched of the fps limiter somehow, but I don't know how could they detect it

You can do this without shaders: In Nvidia Game Filter turn on: (Brightness / Contrast) + (Sharpen+) Now you have almost the same effect minus the nuclear reactor needed to run ray tracing AND YOU WON'T RISK GETTING BANNED

As pretty as this is, for Genshin's artstyle I really do think this is both a little oversaturated and dull.. This shader makes the colours more saturated and the contrast more stark but also kind of leaves less room for small details like the carvings on lanterns and bridges to be more noticed so it comes off slightly muddy ig? like Genshin's world strikes a pretty good balance with having simplistic lighting + detailed textures that compensate and compliment it.. plus the world just looks nice as a background for the characters they have, doesnt overpower, doesn't dull out, looks good.. great job on Genshin Impact's background artists..

You can do this without shaders: In Nvidia Game Filter turn on: (Brightness / Contrast) + (Sharpen+) Now you have almost the same effect minus the nuclear reactor needed to run ray tracing AND YOU WON'T RISK GETTING BANNED

@@linnamorgan2215 I made some changes to the main one I use and now it feels perfect. Added a Sharpen + filter to it. Intensity 50% Texture Details 65% It makes it ultra clear while keeping the high contrast.

I've always wanted to try this ever since I saw your first vid on this, but been really scared. like- what if the anti-cheat just fks me over. I might try it on my alt or make a new one entirely just for testing. But it still terrifies me since my main is already AR59. It's honestly just the thought of being banned but in actuality I haven't really come across any posts saying that they got banned in Genshin for using Reshade exclusively... I used to use the NVIDIA shaders but the visuals don't even compare to Reshade. I still come back to videos like these to remind myself what I'm missing out on. Also, side note to anyone reading and wondering as well about sht getting you banned, I've used the Lyre MIDI player program too both on my main and alt back in October 2021 and haven't been banned to this day, though I only use it very rarely. Hoping the bannless streak continues lol. Wish me luck, cheers! Will edit this comment if something or nothing happens. ✌🏻 I hope my computer doesn't give up on me before my account lmao. EDIT: A week in and I haven't been banned on both my alt and main. Pretty safe afaik. Testing it out w/ the Kamera and shots I've taken don't reflect the shaders. The game is still in mint vanilla condition.

@@_coffee_fox_ Been using it on occasion ever since my first comment and haven't been banned yet. Both my main and alt are still good. Pretty safe using it since I can confirm it doesn't alter any files or the game itself. Just the display on your end of the screen. I'd say go for it! It's an amazing change of scenery once in a while, even if it gets eyestraining after some time.

@@_coffee_fox_ I felt like that the first time too. Maybe he edits or color corrects his videos hence why it looks a bit different. Some presets are very picky with where they look the best at. I'm glad you tried it out tho! Taking screenshots look way more colorful with it than vanilla Genshin's muted out colors.
