Thanks for the video, good to see in this case it was a pretty simple fix. Just woke up to burning smell and blower dead on my heat pump. Great way to start the weekend 🙃

Might want to make sure it’s draining properly during ac mode that’s black mold on the blower housing

Again nice fix Charles and another one of those rtus. As we call them here In Southeastern pa near the delaware border. God builders just love limiting home owners choices and making things more limited and expensive for the homeowner now I could see a rtu bieng an option on a big expensive mansion tuder style home with 5,000 square feet or more where you need a ten ton unit to do a, single ductwork system. But other than that it's just not cost effective to me. And charles I hope the homeowner takes your recommendation and has you replace that fan motor or blower motor but see trane or whoever should have ziptied the wires corectly to something so it could not come loose and get caught in the fan blade. Just my thoughts Charles.

@@myHVAClife in the main line as we call it my way which is about 30 minutes from me closer to the Philadelphia area a lot of those older homes were built with radiators with hydrionic boilers that were oil fired but many homeowners switched to natural gas although nowadays it just makes more sense for these large homes that have also added central ac often with spilt ductwork. To just go solar and use heat pumps With heat strips but keep the boilers as back up in case it gets super cold. Or just convert to an electric fired boiler system if I could find one. I guess I am just old fashioned or creative in a, way solar to me with bateries inverters and wind turbines just seem sensible VS dependence in the utility companies as like I said peco the utility company around my area is very crooked and corrupt ever since they were bought by a fur profit company in 1999. Same with water aqua is dirty as hell too and they have been buying up the township sewer systems me I would be happy with solar turbines inverters bateries a, well and septic system. If needed and water softeners nautrilizers and filters. Now that's what I call freedom and of course an electric vehicle for short trips I can charge at home for free. Take care Charles
