First ride of Tesla Cybertruck! part 8

Hi everyone! In the last part of the Cybertruck's assembling we installed an electric motor and all accessory equipment. But unfortunately we failed to make a ride due to the problems with the gearbox! Now we need to take it off and find the cause of those knocks and seizure of the gearbox.

Huh? With steering wheel sure it was OK, but in this? Whole damn thing is just welding scrap metal together to something that resembles a truck, but wont most likely behave like one on road conditions, rattling around like no tomorrow.

Best advice i can give to your son is to start repairing thing to take them apart to understand how things work, how those parts are made, how to each part effects the next one and how to put it back together, while finding issues that engineer designing that thing didnt consider. Then after getting the education, go to work on the his chosen field in area where other folk are making his designs and work there for few years to learn how things work in practice in the field. Theoretical on paper is one thing, doing it in practice is another thing and its pandemic in the engineering that engineers have no fucking idea what they are drawing when it comes to making these parts. After starting to draw invite lower level workers into office to ask their opinions into design since they know how certain things work in practice like what kind of fasteners are best for that application, how down the line those behave going trough the use and abuse. Had run into this issue with several engineers that sure can draw, but have no fucking idea about how its done in the field and get outraged for instance buddy whos welder that he didnt weld the construction like it was drawn in his designs.. well cause doing it that way would been impossible. Essentially glass and metal pyramid with tight tolerances, it would have not taken more than few rows to fully weld it to tolerances to run out of control due metal warping. Instead he tag welded several rows and then went to weld bottom row properly, but this engineer didnt even know what tag weld is, while buddy though he was joking about insufficient welds, hence the issue. Also you can slap anything together and it might work, but in mechanical engineering finding the right balance between clean work and just throw it together is the difficult. For instance when drawing designs you need to set tolerances. Make tolerances too little and its essentially cheap Chinese crap that wears it self out for instance when bearing mounting hole is sized too big. Make tolerances tighter than it needs to be and you run into inflated costs and even more so if that hole you are drilling needs to be made with special tooling when normal tooling would been enough if it was few degrees more canted.
