Take it easy dude! I'm a German and I can laugh my ass off (as far as I can understand what they say, but there are transcriptions on the Internet). This type of comedy shows that the Scottish can laugh at themselves, that they don't take themselves too serious. I'm member of a German "tribe" (Swabians) who do alike and this way let all those who think they can take the piss out of us hit empty space. Same applies to the Scottish, I guess!
