Yeh Spen closes prob Oct..I should know as I'm on the committee. It's a fantastic little museum. not very big admittedly, but loads of stuff to linger over. Nice cafe and great to complete the day over the Pendle villages

That was first class. Perhaps the museum should contact the various local history groups in the area as it would be a perfect destination for a day out. I came across the story of the two lads who vanished in 1939 some time ago and always wondered if anything had been found in later years. Their story would be worth retelling here.

I'll pay a visit soon, looks very interesting. Its a pity that schools around the area don't want to go and visit, probably because its not inclusive, therefore it excludes some. Its a shame.
