By far, the best graphics game of 2000-2001! 10 years ahead of it's time! It almost looks as good as Driver San Francisco. And that came out whole 10 YEARS after this!

First one is the best. The cars handled like they had some weight to them. The newer ones felt and played like they were made out of tinfoil origami, and if you so much as breathed near another car, they'd explode into a trillion pieces like it was some hollywood action movie. The crashes were fun and all, but it takes away from the challenge if you car goes from handling reasonably (for an arcade racer) to Crazy Taxi, and other cars bounce off you like footballs.

A little late but you'd just unlock a race mode that they called "Free Ride" which is basically the same races but without traffic

I had a gamecube then Burnout 3 came out and I really wanted it but had to buy this piece of crap instead. I was proper pissed off! I think it was that, no Need for speed underground 2 and having have true crime streets of LA instead of GTA San andreas that made me sell the Gamecube and get a OG Xbox!

Should’ve got Mario Kart instead. The later Burnouts were awesome, this pile of dreck shocked me in that it was a burnout game. It’s generic and the cars control like they’re skating on ice. Glad I grew up on Gran Turismo and the better burnouts.
