I am not an M.D. But you actually can get TOO MUCH of fat-soluble vitamins. Fat-soluble vitamins are vitamin A and vitamin D. AG1 doesn't seem to contain any vitamin D. But I could be wrong about that... It does however seem to contain A LOT of vitamin A... And apparently certain kinds of skin lotions have vitamins in them. There are allegedly studies that show that skin lotions with vitamins have some effect on reducing stuff like wrinkles. At least that is what they said on Swedish Public Service Radio some 12 days ago. But they also said that vitamins from these skin lotions can enter into the body through the skin and accumulate inside of certain organs in the body. That is if there is already 100% of the amount of what your body can handle with regards to fat-soluble vitamins like vitamin A or D... So... If you're already getting all the vitamin D you need from sun exposure, eating healthy and getting everything else you need that way through food, plus actually taking that that AG1 stuff that you guys are plugging and then also getting vitamin A and/or D through skin lotions, then maybe you're getting too much vitamin A (and possibly also too much vitamin D)... Like I said: I'm not an M.D., but if you ask a decent one, they will tell you that there is absolutely no need to be taking supplemental multivitamins like you guys are doing. With the kind of sun exposure you guys are getting there is just no way that you won't be getting enough vitamin D (as an example). I also did a quick google on "too much vitamin a". This is the top search result: "Getting too much preformed vitamin A (usually from supplements or certain medicines) can cause severe headache, blurred vision, nausea, dizziness, muscle aches, and problems with coordination. In severe cases, getting too much preformed vitamin A can even lead to coma and death."...

This is what makes or breaks you in life and marriage. Those difficult moments when you fall apart and your partner helps you put the pieces back together again. The pieces may not necessarily be in the same spots as they were before but it works for you now. You two keep supporting and loving each other through it all whether you like the other persons face that day or not. At least that is how it has been for my husband and I. You guys have been going through a lot of changes in the last couple of years. It is A LOT! Right now you are on a small boat and I am sure you can hardly wait to get on your new boat. It is going to feel SO BIG after this adventure! I feel for you but selfishly I want you to continue. I have been watching for years. I am anxiously waiting for the big reveal of the trimaran. Although I haven’t commented often, I look forward to watching your adventures each Monday evening. I watch your video before I go to sleep. I live vicariously through you and your sweet family. I have grandkids around the same age as your kids. It makes me happy to see the amazing adventures you are exposing your kids to. They are growing up to be confident, well rounded and happy humans. Hugs Elayna

Take care of yourself and your beautiful family. What you have accomplished so far is huge. A Great job, the quality of your video editing is the best. The shots, the scripts, your sense of humor, the music, your deep respect for the different cultures and people you’ve encountered, the sincere openness to your vulnerability to others, the bravery of some of your episodes, like swimming with tiger sharks, showing what happens when we try to be open to nature and it’s beauty, and also when things go wrong like with the macaques in thaïland. I could go on and on with compliments about your work and sharing of life and showing what life can be beyond living on a boat, your philosophy of life, mixed with your graceful candor sometimes, makes you look like angels who felt on earth and are trying to adapt to human real life, rather than staying far away in paradise, kinda… keep up with the good work, the great work. You should be nominated at the Cannes international film festival and win the Palme d’Or(also for your very good short films). I mean it. Your story, love and courage are inspirational beyond anything. Don’t worry about subscribers. The good ones stayed, and some more will come along. If you and your family need to take a long break, take it and we are still gonna support you and love you. Take good care, cheers guys, you’re the best !!!

It's a bit disappointing, not that they promote to profit, that's cool. To believe that the followers can't see it, leads me to feel that they think we are ignorant. That's irritating. And I just want to add that panic attacks and depression are a sure sign that you are not where you want to be and that you are doing something you don't want to do OR that you're not doing something that you want to do. It's good that you're paying attention to these because in fact they are a strong indicator. Totally experienced the working mother burnout myself and it feels like the collapse of your abilities but it’s actually a vital doorway into another way to live life. I had a demanding Physio practice supporting people and staff as well as 2 small kids the same age as Lenny and Darwin. Our surprise 3rd child was born with heart and life threatening health issues. The struggle, the burnout and the feelings of anxiety were extreme, however that time of burnout gave me a new way of looking at and living life that I am forever grateful for. This is a tough entrance to a new way and you are incredibly strong and talented, and “ this time too will pass” Sending support from those who have passed through the burn out door and are out the other sunny side ☀️❤

The crazy thing is, you have no idea how much those little moments like the kids laughing at the crab falling off the rope or Lenny's insightful thoughts about multidimensional existence will be some of your most treasured memories. Looking back at some moments when my kids were young, they seem like the most profound and special moments now, but at the time I remember being very overwhelmed and unable to appreciate them. Sometimes when you have it so good, it's hard. It's not only the bad things that take it out of you. It's a life long journey, to appreciate things for what they really are.

Glad to hear you're feeling a little better. Please know we support you all and would rather see you happy and healthy than see a high-production video every week! Be well!

There are tons of people living harder lives. I don't think we should presume she is comparing her situation to anyone else. Just because there are people at a tougher point in their lives it doesn't negate where she is. Not everyone has the option to take care of themselves as they should. That's unfortunate. She fortunately does and doesn't deserve to be berated for that.

I had a very similar experience when the Covid lockdown happened. I started having panic attacks, felt like I was in a dark place, and jumped/reacted to everything. I also had to go on a healing journey. Changed my whole life. We slowed way down and made a ton of changes. I live on a little 2 acre homestead now, work less, and have started living/working for me rather than holding myself to standards on others terms. I'm so thankful that the brain and body can heal itself when you listen to it. Deep peace to you on your journey, you're not alone!

As someone who also works for a company making youtube videos, a weekly video schedule is soooo hard when you're dealing with other projects as well as your own life. Especially since your videos have moved to a more documentary format between 30-60 min from the shorter videos of the past, I wouldn't blame you at all for putting a video out once every 2 weeks. You have a large community of people that will be happy with you taking time for yourself instead of stringing yourself out just for us. Please stay happy and healthy 🫶

Definitely. Take care of yourself and your beautiful family. What you have accomplished so far is huge. A Great job, the quality of your video editing is the best. The shots, the scripts, your sense of humor, the music, your deep respect for the different cultures and people you’ve encountered, the sincere openness to your vulnerability to others, the bravery of some of your episodes, like swimming with tiger sharks, showing what’s happen when we try to be open to nature and it’s beauty, and also when things go wrong like with the macaques in thaïland.

Also incredibly proud of Riley for recognizing the signs and taking over the responsibilities that allowed you to get help. I went through a serious bout of depression and burn out with my own life and business during the pandemic. It's taken 2 years of constant conscious effort to move beyond that. Mental health isn't spoken about enough these days and it's extremely encouraging to hear from someone who I truly admire being honest about their live and struggles. I’ve researched living on a boat quite a bit and one thing that rings in my mind that I’ve heard is that your highs will be higher than you’ve ever experienced and your lows will be lower than you’ve ever experienced. I feel like I’m desperate to live on the water and I’m “trapped” on land. But my husbands job is here, my family is here and I’m not willing to live apart from them yet. And I wish I had the strength to film my life because I feel it’s significant and I’d love to share but I get scared of the burnout. Also being a mother is exhausting no matter how much we love them. I love your channel and your family and I am glad you got the help you needed and I think I need to do something similar. Thank you for your content! I hope we see much of you all for years to come!
