Don’t worry, it gets hard fast. Around license B, road rage requires 20+ kills.
@sn0wblind1336 жыл бұрын
Dylan Stewart well it ramps up quickly, but the only thing I remember being hard in this game's the f1 car challenge and finding fence number 399. Needless to say I've 100 percented it. Twice I think.
@fairguinevere6666 жыл бұрын
The road rages do get a lot harder once you hit Burnout Elite. It's 20+ per match. Oh, also do the burning routes ASAP. It makes the Burnout Elite license somewhat faster to get.

This game gets added to my "video games I enjoyed the soundtrack to and then years later became a fan of one or more of the bands featured on it" list, thanks in most part to Brand New. One of my favorite bands of all time, I would readily suggest checking out their music, but I honestly don't know how to describe their sound. I mean their first album was what you might expect in pop-punk / emo, but from the second album on it's completely different. The song from them in this game is "Archers" off of the album "The Devil and God are Raging Inside Me". If you've never heard these guys before, I think I'd first recommend the album "Deja Entendu" as it has some of their most popular songs and in my opinion is a much better gateway. Their later material is more of an acquired taste when it comes to sound (I'm still not huge on most of the "Daisy" album), but the writing is just wonderful. I've been obsessed with their most recent and almost definitely last album "Science Fiction". To make this comment even remotely on-topic again, one of my favorite songs on that album is "137" which is about nuclear annihilation. Fallout segue complete.

An interesting note, I remember being able to unlock the special cars from the marked man event from something like getting 100% billboards and fences. My favorite to use in multiplayer being the carbon X12, that and the police version of the hawker (because I liked the interpol style paint scheme alot.)

Jonny Butler I believe Burnout 2 had the crash mode where you did that
@CThyran6 жыл бұрын
Harkshir There is also the Showtime mode in this game which does the same thing but not nearly as good, also I thought every Burnout from 2 onward had that mode, not just 2.

When you crash you can press a few buttons, I think the same as when you start a challenge, and then you will go into another mode where you can flip around and do as much damage to other cars as you want and you get a score for it too. I think that is the part of this game you would enjoy the most haha

Psst... Your car's turn signals and the street signs at the top show you the most efficient route to the goal (using listed streets, at least). The way the game's difficulty scaling works is that each time you clear an event, all other events _of that type_ become incrementally more difficult. Stunt Run has a higher target score, Marked Man cars become more aggressive, etc. The exception is Burning Routes, which don't change.

There is actually a mod that allows you to play a good bit of the missing DLC! It hasn't been updated in years, but it gives you full access to the Big Surf Island area and all of the missing cars.
