Burns survivor Turia Pitt on how her partner helped her through the hard times | 7.30

Turia Pitt is an athlete, author and motivational speaker. In 2011, she was competing in a 100km ultramarathon in the Kimberley region of Western Australia when she was caught in a bushfire and almost died. She then spent two years in intensive recovery with her partner Michael Hoskin by her side, where the two learned just how much they meant to each other.
