Just barely on his feet by the grace of a chemical cocktail and a death wish, Burple lurched back towards his hotel room after the latest and most humiliating defeat of his career. Two seconds, they said; A new record for him. But he didn't care. Staggering through the subway, half blind with delirium and somebody's dried blood, Burple happened to spot the one thing in this world he did care about. Frogger. Or maybe it wasn't Frogger. At this point it no longer really made a difference; His feet were already weaving him along a clumsy path towards his target. One little push onto the tracks, that's all it would take, just like he had done so many times before. He lunged at the human form in front of him. The sensation of gravity left Burple's body as the world spun around beneath him. A sharp pain, a flash of light, and he was on the ground again. Feeling the cold rail dig into his back, he thought it may as well be the icy finger of the reaper. One last glimmer of rational thought glittered in his alien brain: "Trains don't pass on this side of the track". Something- Maybe instinct, maybe the primal hatred buried in the deepest part of his soul- Something wanted him to keep living. Something gave him the strength to lift his broken body out of the subway track and across the platform. But Burple was not here to live, he was here to kill. "You fucker!" The words fought desperately to evacuate his torn and swollen body. "I'm gonna get you!" He fell towards his enemy, swinging his fists wildly. He felt them impact flesh, and that was enough to make him strain even harder. He grabbed hold of something in front of him and gripped; cotton cloth fouled with wet human secretion. He felt a vice of flesh envelop him, and the hot breath of his prey trying to tell him something. Burple could no longer distinguish the feeling of pain, but he still felt the shock to his head that sent him crumpling back the ground. If he could just get back on his feet he could end Frogger once and for all, but his body had turned traitor. On his knees, Burple's leaking head slumped like dead weight in front of him. Sounds and lights assaulted his senses. A thunderous rumble grew louder every second, and the light grew even brighter. He wanted to throw his head back and scream. It felt like it was going to burst. And the rumbling was still getting louder, and the light was still getting brighter. Until it wasn't. There was no funeral held for Burple, but there was a brief eulogy in the paper written by roommate Mother Forker: "My friend Burple died just as he lived, drunk to stupidity off the scent of blood and violence."

Every chance he got, Frogger tried to end the violence and showed nothing but kindness. In the end, it was Burple's stubbornness that got him killed, not his feud.
