every playable character in this game feels like theyre from a different time period. it's impressive. for instance, scott feels like he's from an alternate 1929 where america was colonized by the frensh instead of the english. norman feels like he's from 2105 after the french double-colonized america.

I think what both the game and chat don't get about broken glass is that it's REALLY, REALLY sharp. It slices through fabric very easily. It also slices through skin, blood vessels, and tendons very easily. Crawling through broken glass - especially big pieces - could pretty easily leave you either dead or disabled for life.

god i still can’t get over this scene. the shot of him talking WHILE THE CHICKEN MOVIE IS STILL PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND, “origarmi”, the fact that he just starts lying about being the killer for NO reason, and the “GET RIDDA THIS CLOWN” this scene is one of the worst in any game ive ever seen. and i love it so much

I think they wanted to make it look like he is toying with his victims but even in private he is like constantly acting like an audience can see him. Even his monologue. It's such a weird way of handling this.

I think that sequence is supposed to be set in Philly's iconic Reading Terminal Market (or imitation thereof), rather than a supermarket. I...don't think they sell live chickens there either, though, but the rest of it is actually a decent representation

The one thing I still really like about this game is the clumsy, desperate choreography of all of Norman's fight scenes. I think they're genuinely fun and sorta tense- the weird ass carnival music in the Mad Jack fight kinda adds to it for me lmao? its like youre being played with

I love how the camera is angled in a way that it can't see the table. Like Ethan never explicitly showed the camera that his finger was cut off which means all he actually had to do was pretend to cut it off and scream really convincingly and it'd still give him the clue
