I spent 3 years in the Army back in the mid 70s, racism was crazy back there in the Amy on both sides, I decided that crap wasn't for me and got out. I live out in the country in a white community and my new next door neighbors are a black husband and a white wife, he and I are good friends, racism is left for the ignorant. I told you guys before, you always put a smile on my face.

I am a 49 year old white man from Alabama, it does my heart good to see people laugh at controversial topics. Topics that do not fit a certain narrative. My brother and I were the only two white kids on our school bus, and we learned at a very early age that some people hate you, and some people give you a chance. This very true today. I do not hate anyone just because they belong to a certain group, and I do not wish to be judged based on a group that I belong to. I am an individual, and I will judge you as an individual.

QOTD: Mine has always been kiwi-strawberry. Also, my mom bought her book, and after I saw this special, I had to ask her what was in it. Nothing. No substance whatsoever. Basically it was about what it was like being in the white house as the first black first lady. That's it. From what it sounded like to me, it could've been just one page: Chapter 1: "It was awesome, I played with the dog and took care of the kids. The end." Oh, and here are the first ladies: Barrack and Michelle Obama George W. and Laura Bush Bill and Hillary Clinton George H.W. and Barbara Bush Ronald and Nancy Reagan Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter I'm not going past them, but there you go nonetheless. Love you two as always!

Bill Burr hilarious and kills me every time!! Also the difference between the first ladies nowadays and the few last ones is the social media access not the president lol. The coverage on them and the fact they have access to multi social medias is huge compared to then. Just like president choice is huge nowadays. Back before when social media became the norm people weren't as out spoken about their choice or lost friends over their politics on such a huge level. Exposure because of the internet changes everything. Any way love what y'all do keep it up.

I've worked retail. We ask everyone who looks like they're "looking" if they need help finding something. Chances are we know where everything is or can make recommendations. It doesn't matter what they look like. Now then ... anyone who avoids us ... keeps track of where we are and they keep looking over theirs shoulders. Well ... they do get extra attention.

@@willhunt8174 I'm speaking of my personal experience. I'll also note that the places I've worked are a veritable united nations. I was very protective of my employees as you'd be surprised at the level of racist customers we'd have (from people who should know better) anyway. You sound rather judgmental and set in your thoughts that the little world you live in is evil and you see the worst in everyone. My guess is (since you're making a judgment call, then so can I) that you're probably a closet racist who doesn't take responsibility for your own behavior and blames it on race. Or just a self righteous, holier than thou liberal who's just repeating what someone told you in some social justice type class you took to meet girls. edit: Just noted your name ... please God don't tell me you liken yourself to a fictional character from a Matt Damon movie! How very pretentious. And BTW every word and the story was scripted. That's not real life.

@@willhunt8174 And 30 years of experience. I was a customer service supervisor with 250 employees. It was 99.9% woman and 99.0% Caribbean islanders, Latin America, African American and a smattering of Asians (I was the minority) it was an eye opener to see that many of the Caribbean islanders hated people from different Islands, disliked African Americans (they thought themselves better) Latin Americas not liking people from different countries in Latin America. resentment of the Asians outright and I was REALLY an outsider. I was physically attacked by a black guy who'd been caught having someone else clock him in and blamed me for it. He said the attack was because I said something racist. Fortunately it was witnessed and many who'd worked with me for a long time came to my defense (especially after I brought my black girlfriend to a company event) so yes ... racism does exist, but, not everything can be explained by racism. If you look and act shady or misbehave and don't follow the rules it's generally not your race it's your behavior. So don't keep making everything about race! As I said ... I'm speaking of 30 years experience and oh ... I've spent 31 years in an organization (4 of them as chairman responsible for 35 thousand members) who are from every possible walk of life. From Doctors to people 15 minutes out of jail, white, black ... Muslim to Wicken, every possible country in the world. Transgender, gay etc etc ... so yeah ... Eventually two of them lost their tee shots and all four went into the bushes to look for them, so we tee'd off and walked past them, and they gave us a look that would curdle milk. I politely looked at my watched, and said. "I hope you ladies have your husbands supper made instead of fcking about on this golf course." It was like tossing a hand grenade into a hornets nest.
