Burrowing Owl Family with 5 Owlets

This one is especially for "MyBackyardBirding" who has a fantastic live feed of a Screech Owl Nesting Box with 3 Owlets who are soon to be this big.
These little ones were quite comical & each had it's own personality. Mom & Dad had their talons full with 5 little beaks to feed. We had been told their were six but only five showed themselves at one time. If you can identify more than five please let me know.

This is a fantastic video! I've never seen burrowing owls in person. I'm surprised how active they are in the daytime and how much dirt they can move. Great that you could spend so much time with them.

The weaver is looking at things. Their eyes don't move so their head does the moving. Just like you'll observe other birds like pigeons moving their heads forward to back to judge distance.

l heard that as well; sounded camera to me. l also noted the 1st owlet was in an 'alarm' posture about that. (some species do a straight up sort of thin posture.) saw that @ 2:12.

When that one juvenile at about7 minutes it was called the Weaver I believe it was actually fascinated with its shadow against the side of the hole I believe more so than normal because it was almost standing up
