I like the Epi and it's because I feel the BB2 and BB3 are much nicer pickups. They capture the vintage vibe much better .The BB2 and BB3 sound even better in Gibson . I have 4 Epi 59s and I put Gibson Custombuckers in 2 of them and they sound incredible . I call them my Gibson Slayers . They sound like R9s with those CBs .. They sound better than a Gibson R8 I have that had Duncan seth lovers installed.

The Burstbucker 3 was not designed for a Mallory capacitor . It's A Gibson Pickup that was designed almost 30 years ago . The BB3 was not designed for a specific capacitor . The BB3 sounds more mellow compared to the BB61 because the BB3 has an Rough cast A2 magnet and the BB61 has an alnico 5 magnet. Another reason is because both pickups have unbalanced coil windings but the BB3 has a hotter slug coil which makes it warmer and more chewy while the BB61 has more windings on the screw coil giving it a brighter more treble focused tone with a bigger tighter bass . The BB61 is like a more refined and slightly mellower BB Pro and the BB3 is like a more open more clear less compressed 57 classic Plus with a touch more bite and brightness..

bridge PU gibson lebih galak ya bang, epiphone terdengar mellow pas d bridge 😅, liat review org di channel lain, karna mmg di desain seperti itu PU nya krna memakai malory capasitor, tp untuk neck khususnya part lead, saya suka epiphone. lebih dapet aja mnurut saya tone nya d video ini.

Betul, gibson lebih galak di bridge soalnya pickupnya pake magnet alnico 5, kalau di neck lebih enak epi soalnya pake alnico 2 lebih mellow..
