So apt . Burt. The great divide . I was born in Belfast . Now I see the on going violent conflict in the Middle East . There's always a bloody divide . And so many of the victims are innocents . We're never going to sort this shit out . Sadly .

“The Great Divide” is extremely resonant within this era of strife and tribulations. This is an utterly amazing creation due to a plethora of notions. You have executed the onerous decision to expatiate on your perception of the current affairs regardless of the public. This requires gumption as a musician and performer. Not only this, it reveals the future of this nation is extremely significant to you. Your music has been a source of solace. Thank you. LS

Thank you Burt Bacharach for continuing to write lovely music in your 80s and now 90s when I'm sure you could have hung it up a long time ago and just relaxed by the pool every day. You know, the one song that keeps coming up time and again in this historically divided year has been 'What the World Needs Now' which is maybe my favorite song ever. And now we have this. The message is the same 50 years later later. We need to have love in our hearts to try and understand The Other, one another. And it's not the easiest thing you can do, but it's the best thing you can do as a human being. Most of us have to work at it to push back the darker voices inside to show compassion and empathy. One thing is certain as this new song suggests, we need to do a better job at all working together to get things done. Now help me down off my soapbox, sonny.

If we go back to Christ we love His will love His will. We will be united. Till we get this in our hearts and minds we’ll be divided wars Marxism will prevail. We’re so self centered no one helps anyone it’s all me me me The only way this country will survive is if we turn back to God and put Him first
@PetersPianoShoppe4 жыл бұрын
But if you don’t accept Christ, you are definitely out, and cast into the eternal fire. How unifying.
@mikejaques65734 жыл бұрын
The sad thing is. Christ don’t give a rats ass about Nr Bacharach success or songs or how good it rich he is. It’s what did he do for him. He didn’t reply to my message how many people did he blow off. He abandoned Hal David and lord knows how many others. The only thing you take with you into the afterlife is what you did for our here’s and your love for Christ which will be your treasures stored in heaven. Mr Bacharach probably don’t believe in the afterlife. Pray he gets a conversion

This and other recent collaborations with Melody Federer show Burt has lost none of his skills and continues to write amazing music, with powerful messages on the way things are going politically and on climate change with Melody. John Pagano is great too, and the top notch array of music names featured here. Steve(UK).

Thank you thank you. Although Just myself and pianist in my living room less all the gear. I put for publication something sweet That I could offer as well I hope folks fall into it out here for love’s sake. Not mine ha ha. A Harry Warren and Mack Gordan composition (I Had The Craziest Dream) Im kinda heart broken folks it’s about our highest version of self seemingly left to dusty trails. Well if u look for it next week it’s all I have right now.😃 thank you 🍦 It’s a wonderful thing! Ha for me it was Pinocio . It impressed me for life and stayed with me through adulthood. Who could think that CREATIVE ART DRIVEN FROM A COMPASSIONATE BENEVOLENT HEART COULD MAKE SUCH A DIFFERENCE! I commend the adults that participated in the creation. What they left behind moved me forward!!!!! Although behind it all I can’t help to connect the dots that tell me. I’m a product of what the ADULTS IN CHARGE created and steeped me in. And now looking around I cant help notice the drastic difference at what the Adults In Charge say over the last 20 years and longer have created as such???? You tell me? 🙏🏻🌸🙏🏻 you tell the other to tell the others. No?
