I am curious. I have watched several of your videos 4 or 5 times. When you and Mike fished oak orchard you stream hardened your eggs that day. How do you harvest the eggs? Do you gut and gill the females or squeeze the eggs out of the vent? That was the video circa 2018 at Oak Orchard using jigs. Mike dominated with the olive. Thanks again for your well made videos, I love them!

There is no natural reproduction of salmon in Ontario tribs. Maybe the niagara? Probably minimal at most. Numbers are down because they have been slowing down stocking efforts (alwive population issue maybe?) The kings are more or less just egg wagons or fertilizer. That place is a zoo but when all else fails fish are usually there. Seen so many fights there over the decades.

I grew up in southern Ontario but have lived in BC my entire adult life. I was 10 years old in '72 when the first lake salmon returned to some of the southern Ontario rivers. I would skip out of school to go fish for them drifting spawn sacs. Looks like everyone is having fun, I know I would be. I run a small saltwater fishing charter business in Sooke BC and fish for salmon and halibut. I've got some pretty cool pics on my FB. Send me a friend request if you like. Cheers. :)

Man what a sad sight. Just give it a few more years and you can say goodbye to the resources. More has to be done to protect these fish and limit the amount of pressure they see. My children are the ones who are going to suffer from this and its extremely disappointing 😔
@BillMikesAnglingAdventures4 жыл бұрын
you do comprehend Michael that these are non native stocked fish and this spot have been crowded since the 80's when snagging was legal and there's still tremendous numbers of fish running every year right ? your children probably rather play video games antways
@michaelschnoor75944 жыл бұрын
@@BillMikesAnglingAdventures forced to play video games now because dick heads like you just continue the cycle. I dont give a dam if they did it from the 80's,dosent mean its ok. Protect the resources not deplete.

now you sound like a fool Michael - these are all stocked hatchery fish put there for people to catch - your kids probably dont want to fish with you anyways
