Conditions were just about perfect except for the freezing cold temps! Felt good to get some nice fish.

Nice fish. Those really cold days are better suited for places you need to hike a lot....helps warm you up between holes. Then again...sometimes you have to go where the fish and conditions take you.

Agreed, it’s been more a matter of going where a few fish are hanging around. Tough conditions continue on most creeks. Stay warm out there!

Love the glove trick that is the deal. I put hand warmers on the back of my latex gloves on the back of my hands and add the fingerless tip gloves too. Definitely was a cold one this week. Great video.

Awesome steelhead! I still find it crazy how much the browns outnumber the steelhead up there, haven't seen many steelhead on film at burt this year, especially that size, well done 👌😎

Always an adventure fishing there. That run of browns is slowing quickly and it will fill up with steelhead eventually but definitely not the numbers we see in Erie tribs. Maybe we’ll see you guys there one of these days and we can put a few in the net.

They’re usually announced in the local newspaper in Thursday’s sports section. The next one I know about is in February 13-16 in Niagara Falls. That would be the Greater Niagara Fishing Expo.

There is a big parking lot for fishermen and yes there are a lot of places that kids can comfortably fish there.

Ive tried but they just don’t put off enough heat for me. Best luck I’ve had is to fill a pocket with them and then put my hands in to warm up but it means I have to stop fishing.

We were getting them on pink beads i was fishing turbine side lost 5 fish in the tree laying next to the pump station they kept running into it
