You guys have any good spots for crappie in the area?

Moonshines are the ticket, they mostly all are glow and they DO glow even if you dont charge them with a light, just the ambient light under the ice is enough to give them a slight glow and they really are phenomenal on Oneida thats all we use, just change size and color when they arent biting them We were out there of Lewis Sat-Sun on the sleds, so we were about a mile out, on the under water finger of structure. 8 eyes 10 perch all weekend, it was tough for us
@willsworldoutdoors2 күн бұрын
I agree on the Moonshines. Never seen glow like that before.

Great job guys thanks for the video 💯 We were on Oneida last Saturday only caught a couple perch but we were only 19 ft of water definitely need to go back and go deeper what the bite was very slow that day for everyone ! We did have a slammer of a walleye come in and look at the bait but didn't take it !

I’m gonna be fishing this spot for the very first Time with my girlfriend and daughter if you don’t mind telling me what kind of set up are you using under that bobber
@willsworldoutdoors3 күн бұрын
Under the slip bobber I have a 3/4 ounce inline weight with a bead to protect the know from the bobber. Below that I have a florocarbon leader of about 4’. Tie your bead or other bait on and drift. Check out some of our other lower river videos. We go into a lot of detail on the rig in a bunch of them. Also, if you’re planning a trip anytime soon please reconsider. Ice conditions right now are day to day and making it dangerous even if you know the river. Good luck and be safe!

If you have any more of those black foam mats take one and cut a few circles out of it make them little bigger than the hole you drill and make a cut to the center of the circle that way you can put them around those tip ups and that should help keep the hole from completely freezing up on you great video tight lines 🎣
