Yes, noone will ever top the original with a cover, but I'd much rather have covers of the song from talented people than not, because it keeps the song alive for longer.

I haven’t heard of these guys before, and I’ll be honest, I was a little skeptical from the first watch at some points. But after hearing them absolutely NAIL those high notes and the incorporation of gameplay, I can say I left highly M O T I V A T E D Hearing this song for the 1000th time reminds me how perfectly it fits Vergil’s character. Original bury the light: a man coming to terms that despite it all, he isn’t fully alone anymore. In the fights with his twin brother he finally realizes that power isn’t everything and is ready to fully embrace his humanity, shed himself from the past, and finally reunite with his family. This version: a child frightened out of his mind, believing to have lost his other half and his mother to demons and crimson flame. In his awakening, the child believed he was abandoned, and is forced to fully embrace his demonic lineage. Beginning his journey for power, and vengeance, he had one goal in mind: to never be a victim like he was so long ago on that fateful night.
