I think someone may have said this, but in the event that this my thought: I love that around the 2:10 mark, it sounds like the theme is rising. Almost like triumphant or heroic. Maybe Vergil struggling with his darkness. And right at that point, it descends. Into something maybe disappointingly so. Representing Vergil’s fall into his villainy or pain.
