The Allison MD3060 automatic transmission whines like the Allison B300R!

Same with the 3000 series and 2500 you can hear the faint whine on the 2500’s

It brings back memories of when I rode a 2006 Ic CE with a dt466e engine and Allison 3500 transmission in 8th grade back in 2019. It made that same whine through most of the gears with a rear differential humming sound.

And my district still has that bus along with several others with the same engine and transmission. Even 2009-2012 ic CEs with the Maxxforce DT and Allison 3500.

That is one unusual tranny!!!! I know the standard At545 was rather marginal at best. Did that bus have exhaust/ engine brake?
