@@LSR_30 Yes. Not sure how anyone can respect that. He doesn't have to do anything or play ball. That's not the issue. This is a dude born to wealth and blessed with opportunity he earned but blew it with his attitude. Even here he says he wouldn't change anything. Really? He sounds loaded here and his buddy is absolutely wasted. I don't mean alcohol either. That's opiates/benzos. Dude is blasted. The problem is that he knows he can be a POS because he has family wealth to fall back on. He's failed at everything because the only thing he does care about it partying. He is a burnout now and he's going to be one when he's 40yo because he has the mentality of a loser burnout...except bolstered by the knowledge that he'll never have a true rock bottom because even if he blows his football money the family has more than he could ever spend. It's sad. It's kinda pathetic, not respect worthy at all.

As someone who has struggled so much with mental health issues throughout my life I am genuinely happy for Johnny. It takes a lot to get to where he is. To have the ability to accept your mistakes and be content with the way things have happened in your life is so hard. Especially when you were on top of the world and had the potential to make hundreds of millions of dollars like he could have. To be able to say it wasn’t for me, and that it happened the way it was supposed to and be content with where you are, is a great thing for him.

I will always support Johnny he’s a man’s man who can fit it on the river with the boys and bunch of beers or a cocktail party in LA Johnny is the best and he fits in anywhere something tells me he might be a great Head coach one day

Like Mike was saying about moving all the time - I was in Colorado springs at a bar with this girl , she's hammered drunk and wanders off while I go to smoke , she comes back with this old couple and we start chatting , the old guy suddenly asks you guys wanna go smoke a bowl ? Of course let's go . He says alright cool let me pull up the Maybach and y'all hop in . Long story short he tells me the big reason he thinks he made his life the way it is was because he moved every two years and that lit a fire under his ass every time he landed somewhere new . I think what happened to Johnny was he loved being the man, and hated when he wasn't. And he's right about not loving it as much as you thought. He had the world expected out of him when he got to the next level. It takes a special kind of love to do something 10-12 hours a day for a 60 min game you may play 30 of 16-20 times a year so basically if he plays exactly 30 minutes each game youre putting 160-240 hours just during regular season for something that's going to yield at MOST 8-10 hours. The hours of preparation is solely during season. That's not counting off season at all. I thought I loved golf until I started doing what it takes to be good and once I realized what it took, I realized I didn't love it like I thought so I can relate. The only difference is I'm nobody even close to famous and all of Johnny's was public information. When you're the man it's easy to love. When things get rough, it's not easy. He sounds like he's accepted everything though and is in a good spot. He's still set for life. Probably still got 8 figures in the bank and he's got something making him money.

And he also comes from money. His family was and is in the oil business so he’s always going to be good I think he made 20-30 mill in the league as well.

Dear god, somebody needs to help you. This is one of the saddest comments. the dude chose getting drunk all the time over reading a playbook. That’s not someone to idolize.

listen i love johnny. bro actually 1 of his biggest fans but to sit back and say he’s good and he’s not to sure what he’s going to do is easy for him to say when his family is rich rich his dad is a billionaire it’s easy for some who has money to fall back on to say he’s just chillin.

What? U didn't make sense he's honest he said he's good. But doesn't know what he's gonna do. He wasn't s Heisman because he wasn't a hard worker. Hell find what he wants to do even if it's not football. Amazing to watch him play close to Reggie bush he was the most electric player to watch especially at QB like Vick at University at Virginia. His family has money but still had determination to become Heisman and not be a shit bag

Being the man in college (on a much smaller degree 😂) going to the real world is a byatch. Hope we make it through.

Johnny is a real one. Glad to see he is happy where he's at and enjoying life, as we all should. Dude will forever be a legend. Glad I have his jersey and will forever rock it.
@LSR_303 жыл бұрын
What do you mean by being a real one? Someone who had it all and wasted it? “Wow that super real dude” 🤦🏻♂️
@natek19933 жыл бұрын
@@LSR_30 you obviously didn't actually listen to the podcast. Because if you did you would hear him clearly say he didn't have what it took to be a main stay Quarterback in the NFL in regards to the nuances and mental fortitude it takes to be a Starting/Franchise QB in the league. He never had it all, fame is about the only thing he got, and it turned into millions of dollars. With that said he hasn't wasted a thing. He's a real one because he's always stayed true to himself. Humble with his decisions and said if he could go back in time he wouldn't change a thing. Respect him for being honest and happy with his decisions and where his lifes at. You being a hater of someone that is happy in life clearly shows you are not happy yourself. Hope you have a better day my friend. Leave the hate and jealousy behind. Peace, Love, and Respect goes a long way

#1 he said hes living the same lifestyle... that makes me feel bad for him. #2 Saying you dont "love" football is a Bullshit excuse. Do you love your family? Do you love your kids or your kids kids down the road? You could have set them all for life if you did something you didnt "love" for a few more years. 99% percent of America does jobs they dont love. thats low balling it

I hate to see wasted talent. even more an unapologetic waste of talent.
@heissteveland7583 жыл бұрын
You do realize he has more money now than some of us will ever see, he also isnt married nor has kids so why would he grind his body away for a sport he doesnt love anymore? That makes no sense at all You can make money doing other things besides football
