Years ago when my mother had trouble getting in and out of here home i built ramps for all the doorways into her home .it didn't take long before her elderly friends found out i had done this and i ended up making many more of them .I see it as a way to pay it forward and a form of respect .

There are good guys like him daily. I drove buses. I was one of them. Disabled were my best passengers. School bus drivers are not paid well. It is a disgrace while cops, firemen, teachers and the mayor's cronies feed out of the dish.

Why am I not surprised this was in the US? In Norway they give you a car, ramps, wheelchairs and all the equipment you would need for free. I know this cause my sister has a huge grade of Cp and other stuffs so I know how it is for this lady. All I could see was a caring mother that just wants the best for her child. And just a ramp suddenly took half of her daily struggle away. AMAZING! so happy for both of them.

Why not equip all of the mainstream buses with a wheelchair ramp, so that students who require wheelchairs (given that they don't also have serious behavior or communication issues) can ride the same bus as all of the other kids in their neighborhood.
