A Bus Driver POV of the 68 Jedburgh to Galashiels service. The POV is slightly different as I was trying be as close to eye level as I could get and still try and capture the mirror.

I remember driving along the A68 a few years ago. Me & the wife went to stay at roulette retreat Melrose.

An often straight but very undulating route. I believe it follows a Roman route for a lot of its length hence its straightness. Cheers 😊

its nice to see this route in daylight. i did this back in december 2021 (?) during storm Eirwen as a result of the train from glasgow to carlisle being cancelled. missed the X95 by inch of teeth, had to get X62 and 68 and stay overnight in Jedbrough! Nice town but not much going for it on an evening when comes to having food haha

I remember that storm, it was a bit brutal. I can understand how you wouldn’t have seen anything of the route at that time. Glad you enjoyed the vid. 😊

I find that most of our vehicles are smooth in terms of the engine but sound awful due to all the rattles and bangs. This is more noticeable in the cab area mostly due to the movement of the doors when driving.
