@tylerdurden4495 You'll need a guide of sorts, we used a local chap, just make sure that you have a specific arrangement and that you don't get landed with him 24/7! Gambians are a very friendly bunch, but I wouldn't advise Banjul without a guide.

@19bootsy68 Believe me, you don't have to be white to get the bumster treatment, especially around Kololi and the Senegambia. You may not get the "sucking" part, but you get everything else, which I experienced firsthand and more than once. You learn to give a polite nod and no more acknowledgement thereafter. The dust and sand are a challenge in the dry season, but I think I'd still take that over the wet.

Gambia is a great place but local people are way too invasive...it is almost impossible to take a walk on the beach without being assaulted by people asking for money, promoting restaurants or trying to sell stuff

Same in Europe too! I get assaulted by some people in the city centres sometimes asking for money or trying to sell some stuff or bombarding me with promotions of all kinds so don't be so unfair when it comes to gambia because it's prevalent everywhere you go in the world.

The coach is talking nonsense better do your homework. That's is a poor coaching and you don't need to mention certain things. Poor story telling. Fool😂😂

Lamin Badjie I disagree with you there! Remember he's addressing people who know very little or in some cases know nothing about Gambia and I've learnt a few things from him about Gambia that I never knew before so he's not a fool at all because he seems to know what he's talking about.
