We made a camping road trip / tour through Belgium (Duvel Beer!), France (Loire, Creuse, Dordogne, Pyrenees) & Spain (Pyrenees). With our Van Hool RV converted bus. Like a Tour de France, in 6 étapes / stages. A rather peculiar way to get to the ocean ;-)
Beautiful sites, impressive mountains, (too) narrow roads and a tiny interior tour.
And…. then there is the riddle of that magical stick....

Petje af voor de montage, ik leer hier van, vind zelf inkorten lastig ... je wil zo veel laten zien. Jullie 15 minuten was nog te kort. Ik moet nog camperen, kampeer wel al en rij ook truck (parttime). Camper (wat het wordt zie ik wel) staat wel bovenaan in mijn lijstje. Ik heb ook een KZbin kanaal met best wel veel video's, truck, motorscooter, motor ... gisteren de PC geupgrade die was met 11 jaar te oud geworden, Magix Video liep daarop vast, nieuwe 2e handsje ex-cad PC moet dat beter lukken. Ik heb ook alle rijbewijzen en jullie formaat bus-camper is wel heel erg ideaal. Hoe zit dat met met mrb en de vignet prijzen? Natuurlijk rij je alles binnendoor, camper is onthaasten en gaan voor de mooie uitzichten en de pure natuur.

Ha Luc, Magix gebruik ik ook. Loopt overigens ook hier wel eens vast..... Vignet hoeft niet. Is officieel een personenwagen > 3,5 ton. Tolwegen mijden we inderdaad. MRB is wel een aanslag op de portemonnee, hoor, maar met schorsen is dat redelijk in de hand te houden. Ik schat dat ik nu gemiddeld op € 5 à 600 per jaar uitkom. Een behoorlijk auteur zei ooit: 'Schrijven is schrappen.' En waarschijnlijk geldt dat voor video's ook 😊

Gave video, wakkert de droom om een touringcar om te bouwen naar camper alleen maar verder aan ;-) Ik had twee vraagjes: hoe verzeker je zo'n touringcar camper? Een bus particulier verzekeren is erg lastig heb ik begrepen. En ben je nog steeds tachograafplichtig?

Oei, dat zijn wel direct de 2 meest ingewikkelde vragen ;-) Een bus (als autobus in nl op kenteken) is als particulier inderdaad nauwelijks meer onder te brengen bij een verzekering. Wél als personenwagen (camperinrichting) bij de NKC. Maar dat betekent ook iets voor de wegenbelasting.... Tachoplichtig ben je dan officieel niet, maar in het buitenland doe ik er vaak toch een ouderwetse schijf in. Het lukt me nl niet om zoiets in het Frans uit te leggen....

It is a Van Hool T809, so 9 seat rows. It is 8,5 m long. I'm guessing yours is 12 m.... I really love your modern cargo area doors!

@@HanVerdiHuskyRV Lets see, mine is 40 feet, so that'd be about 13.25 meters. Yeah, the cargo area is huge on my bus! If we didn't have so much gear to haul I'd make a small sleeping area down there. I saw another video where someone put a TV and a bed down there.

Voor deze een C-rijbewijs (> 7,5 ton). Maar er zijn ook bussen < 7,5 ton en dan volstaat rijbewijs C1.

Als de camper als (auto)bus op kenteken staat, is weer D-rijbewijs of D1(< 7,5 ton = D1) nodig.
