For just shy of $60K, I reckon it's gonna definitely give the HiAce Commuter D-4D a good run for it's money, not just in the power stakes (HiAce 85kW vs. Master's 110kW) but the value for money stakes

Renault has been selling these Masters for a while in the UK. They are not the best for reliability. Electrical problems, build quality problems with the sliding doors. And the Automatic transmission (Automated manual in this) is not very reliable. It's a French vehicle at the end of the day. It is better to drive than the Hiace and more modern but it's less reliable.

Anyone with any ownership feed back? Particularly the reliability of the mandatory AMT gearbox.

I have the same quickshift gearbox on a 2010 Renault Twingo. It needed a $1,500 repair after 10 years. I think it is a good gearboox. It is simple and industrial. You can easily use the plus / minus shift and have instant change in your driving style.
