I am about to buy my third one. had a 2005 for 5 years , Have had a 2010 from new for 14 years and done 220k on the same engine which has just blown . I have not had any major problems except for a clutch at 140k . It has no rust unlike my sons newer Transit . I am a very satisfied customer who is just about to get another one

I’ve got a 2021 Master that’s had two new DPFs under guarantee, and no end of DPF problems. We just do local stuff around London and it’s only done 18000 miles. The whole DPF regen thing is terrible with city use. But shouldn’t modern vehicles be able to operate under all conditions? Apparently not!!

Not in Australia, no parts are held in stock so you have to wait from France for delivery which takes weeks. Parts for known repeating failures. Not happy

Anybody that does 25 thousand miles before an oil change needs to lay of the crack pipe .

Avoid Renault everything at any cost, they're rubbish. So I bought a Nissan NV400 instead, to then later find it's a Renault badged as a Nissan. So, new oil filter housing needed, side door creeps open slightly for the dash to keep beeping, burnt out fuel pump, gear box packed in, reverse switch replaced, clutch cylinder on pedal replaced, EPS fault error to sort, emissions fault error to sort, and a whole raft of niggly things over the years. My next van, I'll be studying all the components to make sure it's not Renault.

What age / mileage was it? I'm looking at a 2014, 130k miles, £6k

My mate works at nissan says they only ever get as blue issues but nothing else really and from his mechanic eyes the Renault's get the nicer parts over the nissan so everyone is telling me different stories haha

@@drawnbody51 64 and 114k milage. Wish I didn't buy the heap of crap. Avoid Renault. Over 20 years ago, I worked at a place that had a garage. Every mechanic from every dealership that worked there said, "AVOID everything French and Italian". Hence why I went for Nissan. But I got stung. Renault are shit, complete and utter shit.
@Mee107928 ай бұрын
@@drawnbody51 Good luck, you will NEED it. If your mate is in a dealership, it's because people are taking their knackered French and Italian vans to back street garages, as opposed to getting their pants pulled down at dealerships And when you get your French van, the lol's will soon stop.

@@Mee10792 So many different stories I wonder why some people get such bad ones surely quality control can't be that inconsistent. I've heard amazing things about sprinter/ crafter but also the worst of the worst so I don't know what van to get. Also what do you have / would you have now?
