I prefer Siem Reap than Phnom phen Also, I stayed on PUB ST , So there were endless shopping & food options . I bought 6 sarong , US $4 each , perfect For travel & temples visit, Its Also easy to hand wash & air dry!

Actually, fresh milk is pretty expensive here. Some brands are more expensive than the coffee so yeah they charge fairly. Condense milk is way cheaper that is why we use it on everything.

I got a weird vibe in Phnom Penh as well. Can't quite put my finger on what it was, it was a very congested and busy city so mabey that's why. We absolutely loved Siem Reap, it's completely different , I wish we were there longer.

I know!! great your gonna be back in the UK. A subscriber meet up is a cool idea & i’m sure you’ll have a great time in London. Maybe next time organise a meet up somewhere in the middle like Manchester, a really cool northern city, where you have easy access to awesome places like York & the Lake District again. Remember your gaining a big following in the UK & I’m sure people from all over would like to come & meet you guys. Safe travels x

I did Phnom Penh to Siem Reap in 2008. The place we stopped wasn't as nice as that one. They did filled baguettes and stuff like fried tarantulas. I went for the baguette... but I think the tarantula would probably have been nicer.

I took the same trip 5 years ago this January. Back then much of the road was unpaved which made for a dusty trip. I think it was 10 hours then also passing those mini tractors which were going less than 5 mph. The trip made me decide to fly to sihanoukville. I think I may have had that same tuk tuk driver in the pink shirt.

Khmer curry is the same as red curry 👍🏼 Love your video! I can’t wait to visit Cambodia next Summer for the first time! I am Khmer but the first in my fam to be born and raised in Boston, MA. I’ve never been to Cambodia before... my parents has gone back many times without me :(. Lol. School and work is a big factor for not being able to go so I can’t friggin’ wait. I can bring my 11yo daughter with me (she’s half Cambodian and half Cape Verdean).

Its funny in Canada, condensed milk is waaay more expensive than regular milk or fresh cream. I recommend getting on the condensed milk train especially if you guys are heading to Vietnam.

The tea when I was in South India was the same, always very sweet made with condense milk boiled together with the tea. ugh! I normally have my tea without milk- even then sugar would be added.

Carys a Deacon i should try condensed milk. I liked milk tea as a kid but i stopped drinking milk for awhile so I'm used to having it without milk

I was in South India for three months, in Tamilnadu. The people I was staying with made tea with sweet condenses milk and would boil the tea and milk together. I have met tamil people also in the uk who made their tea the same way. As someone who has only ever had tea without milk and sugar it realy tasted awful.

lol no wonder the bus took 7+ hrs cuz u guys theres took many stops for break and 2.5$ for egg & noddle.... u can actually get it for 1.25$ usually... but i guess they overprice tourist lol and the bus spokesman is sooo monotone lol.... and i guess siem reap is more of a tourist destination... thus u should like it more than phnom penh.... phnom penh is just over crowded with motorcycles and less touristy....

Guys .... love your blogs ..... but don't put down Cambodian coffee if you only spend 0.50 cents!!!! I have been to Cambodia a number of times and have experienced nothing but great coffee. But I paid AUD$2-3. And I know good coffee - I'm from Melbourne Australia which has a world renowned reputation for good coffee If you want to be taken seriously as food vloggers, don't expect that it will be the same as USA - for 50 cents??? Have some respect. Fresh milk is not very common in Thailand or Cambodia, it is usually imported and that's why it costs 3 times as much. You can't always have it both ways .. yes food is cheap, drinks are cheap (much cheaper than Thailand, and the risk of it being some backyard ethanol is much less likely) ..... you can't also expect that their coffee is also good and cheap. Maybe you meant this to be funny, but it came across as arrogant American. sorry just giving you some feedback - from some who has been to Cambodia a number of times I don't think you have given this a very good review of the food

I want to give you some advice when traveling to Cambodia. 1. Be careful with your surrounding while walking in the street, you might get rob or steal. 2. Be careful with food on the street. Watch out what you eat. 3. Travel safe because Cambodia doesn't enforce the law. The law is only in the book, but not applied on the street. 4. Cambodia charges more money for tourist to visit Angkor Wat or other sites, but those money ends up in the Vietnamese businessman, not Cambodia government. Cambodia government let Vietnamese runs the temple. 5. Negotiate what you buy. Example, an item costs $10, may be give them $6. Thank you for sharing this video. Even traveling to Vietnam, remember it's a communist country, not democratic country. For me, I won't go to Vietnam since the food is not safe and they keep your passport when renting a hotel. That is a big NO with me. I trust Thailand than Vietnam. Most Cambodian travel back home very be careful what they eat.
@ianbuchan17935 жыл бұрын
Kor Chul that is incorrect information they do not keep your passport when you rent a room in a hotel also the food is safe
