technically you're flying business class and not first class. not many airlines have international first class but its a step up from business class, hope you get a chance to fly international first class one day!

In the humble opinion of this traveler there is no American airline that does business/first class right, and don’t start me on their lounges. Its just way overpriced for what you get. Give me Qatar any day of the week. 😊❤

That looks like business class. British Airways business class is way better than the Delta first class I overpaid for this year. I'm a huge fan of British Airways business class for my annual trips back to Scotland from Houston, Texas.

I flew first from Paris to Atlanta, real glasses, real dishes and ustensiles, champagne and wine and the food….the good thing is my daughter paid for that ticket. First class on Air France…wow..wow..wow!

My son flies some for his Tech job and he goes to Switzerland seems like every other year from Washington State so, he has the company pay for first class too. He turned 40 this year and he's a plus size person so, it helps in more way than one. He is on a weight loss journey though...

I got to upgrade to first class once. It was so amazing. It was a short two hour flight. So it was short and sweet. Amazed that I got china and real silver. My last flight to Thailand was brutal. 24 hrs in coach. Thought I was going to die or at least need knee surgery since the seats had no leg room and the man in front of me weighed 400 lbs so he was crushing my knees before he even reclined.

United Polaris is certainly a great first foray into flying long haul business class 😀If you enjoyed that then I'm sure you'd enjoy the likes of Qatar's QSuites business or better yet a proper first class product like that of JAL First on their A350, Emirates First or Etihad's Apartments on their respective A380s or even Singapore Airlines. I say this only because United designates Polaris as a long haul business class product rather than First 🙂 Fun fact, you can fly Emirates from JFK to Milan or Newark to Athens as well as Singapore Airlines from JFK to Frankfurt.

:Your video reminded me of when I traveled to Japan frequently for work. When I worked for a Japanese company. Whiile the planes were not as nice asa they are now, the service was great. I very much remember getting upgraded to First Class because thye airline had extra seats, and I had flown that trip so much. It was very nice but no way could I justify the cost now. Only would use miles, and even then if I didnt need them for everything. (If I remember correctly ONE trip to Japan gave me the equivqlent of a free coast to coast in USA. Hope you didint get too spoiled but had a great time.

Yea, you're never going to want to go back to economy! I love first/business class! I take a lot less trips in order to use my points/miles for a nice flight!!! It's part of the vacation for me and I look forward to it. So glad you guys got to experience it! Have a great trip!

Sadly our first flight was so delayed that we only got to pop in the lounge for about 10 minutes before our next flight boarded. 😩 It seemed like it would have been really cool!

That's what I thought as well. Ive booked business class from LA to AMS for next February. The sears look as good as the same. Mine can also close the doors, for more privacy. Believe me, I did NOT pay 6000. I payed around 1600 euro, still a lot. But a lot less. Will be my first time, and I will try to sleep, that's why I booked it. In economy I cannot sleep at all.
