As an actual school bus driver, they could do a little better with the controls. The sequence is yellow warning lights 300ft before the stop, you go into neutral, set the parking brake, and open the door. When you open the door, the crossing arm and stop sign engage automatically. When you close the door, they also disengage automatically. Something that I don't see in here is crossing students from right to left or loading from left to right, the whole reason the stop sign exists. I think it is cool that the cars stop though, other bus games I have played they do not. I'm glad we are getting some school bus love though, I've always wanted a school bus game.

I can confirm the pedestrians have gone full suicidal after the "Next Stop" update came out. Big issue I had was them running out in front of me or into the side of my bus when approaching a stop. I found the best way to stop that from happening is to not use the right indicator when approaching the stop if you see a ton of people walking around near it. It's like they freak out thinking you're about to turn into them even though they're on the sidewalks. As for the people running out onto the crosswalks at the last second all the time... Well they're just f****** stupid.

i am a school bus driver myself in Oklahoma, it's kind of awesome to finally get some type of school bus simulator. theres a few changes to the bus needed, like most buses have two stop signs and atleast where im at we have no ac in our bus and we have a no child behind button so kids dont get left on the bus when we get off .

Thats an intresting model for the BBV (Bluebird vision) I dont see why the front roofcaps (aka the things that have the warning lights) are like warped back, irl they go straight up Other then that, its sorta accurate considering the devs dont know everything about bluebird (I know everything about bluebird) Anyways for the driving, you dont turn the red lights on when you unload at a school because it just blocks traffic

The all american T3FE is definitely a better modeled, more accurate bus. Everything seems pretty accurate on it. Its a 2019+ bus

Just to let you know the next expansion for this game will be the Thomas Saf-T-Liner C2 school bus coming within the next month or two. The model is already in the game files.

Seems like it _could_ be relaxing, but it basically requires you to have a wheel + pedals setup. Game doesn't seem to like mouse/trackpad steering. Keeps a cursor on the screen (which is distracting enough on its own) and the steering goes crazy if/when that cursor goes outside what it considers the 'game window' even on fullscreen.

Back in the early 80s when I was a kid, the way the bus driver shut us kids up was turning on the interior cabin lights. We'd all raise a hand with a peace sign and one finger over the lips for the shush. Worked every time. They should model that in the game. LOL

You’re welcome and Thank you. Being an unsung hero in the education is not easy, but i love my job and there are perks to the job. Its very stressful at times and drivers dont care about the children onboards safety, yet have the nerve to have kids onboard stickers in their back window. Im so glad last summer my bus company installed Stop Sign cameras. You’d be surprised though, people still drive with entitlement. This Bluebird brings me back to my training days. I trained on one of these 4 years ago and have been driving a Thomas Freightliner Saf-T-Liner C2. I love it since it is my favorite bus. What you were doing was a multi route. We could have a middle school and elementary school route. Midday we do trips and other routes or relax until the afternoon. Typically High school you will only do that run.
