Why would you put an electrical outlet next to a fuel fill location. At least it's diesel. The inside is looking good!

@jeffchancey4273 it takes a lot for diesel to burn. It's fumes will not light up and it needs to be compressed to really do anything. You can throw a lit match in a cup of diesel and it would not burn.

@jeffchancey4273 The GFCI trips first, it's what they're made for. And if that doesn't trip. The breaker in the panel will trip. Both will remove power instantly. There's no real danger. Diesel won't ignite from the little spark a 120v AC short would make anyways. But there are two things keeping it all safe in case of a short.

For those concerned about the GFCI receptacle near the diesel fuel fill. It'll be fine. First I'm sure that Rvprepperwayne used all the right connectors, bushings, and anti-short grommets. Also as previously mentioned, the receptacle is GFCI which can trip on it's own should it see any fault which pretty much instantly removes power. If by some chance the GFCI was unable to trip. The breaker in the panel that feeds the circuit will trip which also pretty much instantly removes power. There's two things in place keeping everything safe. There's no way it can just arc and keep arcing and cause a diesel fire. Diesel is also kind of hard to ignite with just a spark. It takes really extreme rapid compression. Or very hot open flame to ignite diesel. It's going to be okay. But Eric, to make the internet happy, I'm sure he will promise to keep the circuit off at the panel when filling the bus with diesel. 😁 If you say it's wrong. Cite the code saying it's wrong.

As a very experienced driver I thing you should think twice about blocking that first passenger side window. You had enough blind spots before you blocked 1/2 the window.

Eric I am not the brightest bulb in the room, but was looking at the water tank there and if i remember water tanks sweat once full of water and the temps change a little, thought you would have laid down a moisture barrier between the tank and floor? or am i wrong?

Eric....just a friendly FYI.... I imagine you have done your research on mini splits but i just wanted to give you a heads up with some of the really cheap ones. Some are having issues with the pre insulated lines leaking later from the insulation causing them to corrode abnormally.

Suggestion: get a tool belt. It is surprising how much faster certain tasks can go when you have all your basic tools within reach all the time. Tape measure, hammer, screws, nails, drill, drill bits, etc... Lookin' great. Happy New Year!

I know you already have a heater installed but do you know about the Truma and Alde systems for heating the bus and the hot water. In NuCamp's 2025 360 model, they also were able to control the air conditioner with the same controller for the water heater and air heat. I have a Webasto Gasoline parking heater that is currently not working because I did not use it enough. I like the reliability of propane. But I think they also make diesel powered unites. Glad you are feeling better and can enjoy you process of building your bus.

Are you driving it around a bit as you build to check for vibration and squeaks? I know it might take a bit of time to get to a flat road but it would be worth it to take the time to so this early as possible to see you need to add some mass vinyl or hdpe shims or spacers.

Our cat developed a allergy to corn and corn by products around 4 years old. We had to change to none grain kibble and wet .

8:22 Does the dry food contain carbohydrates? Most dry food has carbohydrates in it. A couple of vets told me cats can't digest carbohydrates, like we can. Cats are carnivorous. I was put onto a special type of dry food that doesn't contain carbohydrates. I'm not sure of the brand, though. (I'm also in Australia.)

I had to completely stop giving my cat dry food all together. No animals in the wild eat kibble. He started having allergies to it. Hes very fluffy like Opie too(his name is Jabba), so with all the cat fur/hairballs and the dry food he was getting constipated and puking up everything. I spent a thousand dollars taking him to the emergency pet hospital and it was just his food. 🙄🤦🤦🤦I only feed him soft food that is grain free and he hasnt been sick in years thank god.

I can tell you this regarding dry food for the kitties.....At least what my vet told me. If it is in the dish for any extended period of time or not properly sealed airtight in storage, it becomes stale and very unappetizing to the beast. Similar to stale potato chips would be to you or me and may cause some cats to vomit. Not saying that's the case, just something to look at.
