On my last trip to Germany I visited this monument around 11 pm at night. It is such a moving place to be. I will be going to the next memorial. Like the lady who lives above the monument said, I cried and my wife wondered why I was so moved despite knowing the story.

Brilliant. So happy to see the memorial growing. It's something I think the club neglected for many years for different reasons but good to see it increasing in importance since the 50th anniversary. I hope to make the pilgrimage myself one day. RIP

Wow, Andy, thank you! Keep the videos coming, please! This is a real eye-opener! I've been looking for an excuse to go back to Malta where I spent loads of holidays growing up.

I first went to Munich in 1984 when i worked in West Germany, their virtually was nothing there. I think attitudes have changed over the years, i remember Wilf McGuiness saying "Munich is something we rarely talk about, but never forget. It's sad a lot of commercial ventures by some off the back of the tragedy.
