23:25 Hey hey, I’m one of the engineers for the train ride (I was actually up on the engine during your trip). What you got to experience was what we’ve dubbed “short track”. We only use that during Christmas time or when the other stations are under refurbishment. Also, we use it if a ride in the area (Kumba, Sheikra for example) need to have construction vehicles on the track. Thought I’d share something a little cool there. It’s a rare little treat to see the train make a U-Turn like that.

Hi Shawn, Charlotte and baby bump. I loved bush gardens great coasters. I went there for the first time ever in may 2023 . Iron Gwazi was insane. Tampa itself is amazing; our NHL Tampa Bay Lightening won the Stanley Cup 2004, 2020, 2021, Brady winning final Super Bowl with Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Great Zoo and Aquarium, and Yankees play all Spring Training and seating is feet away !! My Granddaughter went to Disney On Ice, Busch Gardens (great rides) and Cruise Ships in Port. And as Shawn and Charlotte point out, free transport to and from WDW. Rarely gets below 40 and 50 degrees.

I love this park! I rode the original Gwazi and it was rough, so I’m glad they gave it the iron horse treatment. I also liked it that Charlotte filmed The Rhythm of Nature. Charlotte should continue filming things while you’re on the rides.

Nice to see it running a little better than when we visited back in July 2024. Always been one of my favourite parks, but the last couple of visits have been terrible and the Tripadvisor score and review show I'm not the only one to think so 😬. Onwards and upwards hopefully.

This is my home park that I grew up at almost every weekend. (I still live in Tampa, and go way too much lol) I'm so glad you visit this park! I can see Falcons from my house, and yes it is VERY temperamental. The white birds that you kept calling chickens are the American White Ibis. Busch gardens will have signs posted around their mating season reading some along the lines of "Pardon our mess (its because of the bird poo lol) its their mating season, ect." and they just let them do their thing. Just a fun tidbit about to park to let you know about.

This park is easily one of my favorite parks in the US, operations and food price/quality aside. The variety of animal exhibits that are tastefully done and excellent quality and quantity of coasters make this park one that is super repeatable for me. It’s just excellent. Montu, Kumba (which I’ve heard is testing again), Cheetah Hunt, Gwazi and Sheikra all range from good to beyond excellent and are different enough from each other that it makes the park feel very complete and well rounded.

Didn’t bother with cobra curse. Shikra was disappointing vs oblivion the black hole in gardaland. Cheeta hunt was interesting and unique but not that exciting. Glad to ride it. Yeah bush gardens is all about gwazi, and that it just looks so pretty in parts with the mature trees. Abiding memories were, gwazi and walking around and just loving being there.

I always love your vlogs from busch gardens tampa. This is another great one, but i was sad they had so many major rides closed for maintenance. It also hurt to see scorpion sbno. I'm old enough to remember going to the park when scorpion was the big coaster (prior to kumba when the only other coaster was python). When i last went there 2 years ago, i still thought it was a solid ride. I wish they would relocate it instead of scrap7ping that great schwartzkoph.

Actually it’s the perfect time to do maintenance. A huge winter weather storm is right over the entire peninsula. The parks are nearly empty. It’s just easier that way. The rapids are getting new wood boards put in. It’s why all rapids type rides are down. Every year the parks remove wooden boards and replace them. Those boards create the rapids.

Gonna go to my first Non UK theme park next April. Definitely gonna start off in Europe. I'm torn between either Efteling or Europa. They are both outstanding theme parks obviously, way better than anything in the UK (currently), both of which I want to visit at some point. Which one do you reckon is better to go to first?

This is why I feel Europa is more worth the cost, but that being said if you go to any of these parks then it's more than worth it and 2 of the best worldwide

I had great fun there last week however I thought the operations were appalling with 400 second dispatches on iron gwazi (70 min advertised 30) and every ride was slacking except montu wasn't awful and Tigris was acceptable disoatches although you'd hope so on a one train ride.

I agree with what you were saying about the rattle on newer B&Ms. It makes me concerned for Rapterra at Kings Dominion. If there is a rattle, it will feel more pronounced on a wing coaster.

Really enjoyed this vlog, really bad how you have to pay for a ride in a park you already payed entry for, understand if the attraction was outside of park or outside going over park and outside again. But the fact that its inside park already, thats bad tbh. Got a good selection of coasters here, love the new addition, hope one day we get one like that, but Vekoma at a Merlin park in future? Iron Gazi looks epic, my sister went on it in the past, she I think said she loved it? It looks epic, but I unfortunaly won't ride them, maybe a family version? But not this version, especially currently. Hoping we get an RMC in Universal GB if happens? Either racing family coasters or thrill coaster? Be a epic additions, but I guess for now, we will just have to wait and see? But nice vlog, really enjoyed and look forward to seeing a.k.a watching more vlogs soon. 😁👍

I had such a bad experience last year. There was one of those white florida birds with an injured leg, it couldn’t move, it kept trying to lay down and it’s leg looked like it was going to snap, blood pouring out of it. As an animal lover this was horrible to see, we spoke to several staff members who assured it would be dealt with. Came back later in the day and it was still there poor thing in pain. They said nobody would come to it. As a guest, it was a very distressing thing to see and I was in tears. Even if they took it away and put it to rest would be better than leaving it for everyone to see. We put an official complaint in and never heard back. So sad

Montu too intense for me just too much gforce it was impressive but yeah ultimately feel like endure it vs gwazi where you can just ride it again and again. Third time getting off montu back to back I needed to sit down. I could ride gwazi all day.
