Join us in this vlog as we share on ride POV's from all of the major rides at Busch Gardens Williamsburg as we visit for the first time! This awesome theme park opened back in 1975 and is home to 8 different roller coasters including some very iconic rides. In this vlog we share on ride footage and our reviews from Alpengeist, Apollo's Chariot, Griffon and all of the other roller coasters that are located at this stunning park.
In this vlog we also check out some of the other rides at the park including a beautiful boat ride, fantastic train ride and one of the best rapids we've ever experienced. We had an absolutely incredible day at Busch Gardens Williamsburg and we look forward to returning again at some point in the future!

We just visited Busch Gardens Williamsburg 2 weeks ago. LOVED it! The rides, the shows, the atmosphere...BEST themed park I've been to outside of Disney or Universal.

Finally, the day has come. TPW's visit to BG. Glad you fellas enjoyed it. Sometimes I'll just take my boys for a stroll around the park. No matter how many times I go I always take photos and videos. Also, my personal rule for when I'm going to ride anything, is ALWAYS get Pompeii first, as you saw it'll close down from time to time. Train and Skyride are my favs because of the views. Come back again in the future and bring Charlotte along.

I like how the coaster enthusiasts are friends with each other. Never been to this park.. Always wanted to go since Loch Ness first opened...1978...2 interlocking loops was the best thing going at the time!

This is my favorite blog of the trip so far. I loved all1:24:17 of it! My favorite part was during the rapids ride when you gave the bag to Alex to keep it dry and he got drenched by the waterfalls. Well done for keeping it dry though, Alex!

Alpengiest and Apollo’s Chariot are both prototype roller coasters. Apollo’s Chariot was B and Ms’ fist hyper coaster.

Agreed, Verbolten is not a family coaster (the drop track is more intense than most inversions), nor is it a good coaster (the pacing is awkward). It's a poor man's Flight of Fear (at the relatively nearby Kings Dominion).

I freaking LOVE Busch Gardens Williamsburg. It was the very first theme park I visited. And it had just opened when I went. Of course it was totally different 45 years ago. It's one of my favorite parks especially for the layout, and so much more. Before 9/11, you could take a tram over to the Anheuser Busch factory, tour around and get free samples of beer. :)

Loch Ness Monster was my first roller coaster, Since, I have ridden hundreds and never looked back

Fun fact about Alpengeist, that mid run brake used to only just barely slow you down, causing your stomach to fly up into your throat as you were suddenly whipped downwards on the drop. It was awesome. I’d guess they tightened up the brakes to reduce wear and tear, since I’m sure the forces generated by trains wanting to fly forwards when the track is going down were tremendous. Miss the old setup, but the ride still really holds up.

If you liked Apollo’s Chariot, Raging Bull was B&M’s second hyper with a twister layout and an ejector filled drop. Ride back row for the best ejector on a B&M. The rest of the layout is trimmed pretty hard before the first airtime hill but if you’re lucky or ride early in the morning, they turn the trims off. It has the same pre drop on Apollo’s Chariot but not drawn out and very forceful.

Just found your awesome channel! As someone who rode the Loch Ness Monster in her inaugural year, 1978, and many years since, I thank you for taking me back on my beloved "Nessie".🐉 😊🐲♥️ I appreciated all of your enthusiasm about the beauty of this theme park. One thing I most appreciate about their detailed landscaping is that no matter how high up a ride takes you, you will not see any service areas or dumpsters behind any of the buildings. Busch Gardens Williamsburg definitely deserves the title that has been bestowed upon it by NAPHA for the last 31 years straight: "World's Most Beautiful Theme Park". Busch Gardens: Europe in Williamsburg VA used to be my home park for a few years. I used to live about a10 maybe 15 min drive from Busch Gardens in the north western tip of the city Newport News VA. I had season passes every year I lived there. At the time, I stayed with my father who was in the Army so he got me a military discount. Got season passes for price of a single day admission. Ive been there so many times and it never got dull. Used to go like 2 or 3 times a week. Whenever I got bored basically lol. I loved spending time there. I haven't been to anywhere near as many parks as Shawn or Taylor and I only have about 117 coasters under my belt but I have been to more then your average enthusiast or park goer and I know enough to have my favorites when it comes to parks and coasters. Busch Gardens Williamsburg is an absolutely beautiful park. My second favorite after Cedar Point. Sadly it has been years since I moved away and been there to Busch Gardens. The last time I was there tho was 2008 maybe I think. It was the last year Big Bad Wolf was up and running. Can't wait to visit again sometime. Maybe make a trip next summer. Last but not least, I agree with Shawn, Alpengeist was my favorite coaster there, at least out of the coaster line up they had in 2008.
