I may not be qualified to answer any specifics, but being from Fort Worth I know we have Trinity Metro formerly 'the T'. And Dallas has Dallas Area Rapid Transit. The TRE connects both cbds as well as some burbs. And Dallas has its own link to DFW INTL. Fort Worth just opened its own recently with TEX rail. Both systems I believe operate independently though I don't think they ever connect aside from DFW airport and the TRE. I could be wrong though. It's growing so fast..

Isn't that rail line eventually gonna to go from Ann Arbor to Detroit then up towards Pontiac? There's a pale blue transit line on Google maps that has no info, but it looks like it's showing the progress of the line maybe..
