Memphis bus routes are improving but still need a lot of work. Passengers also need bus etiquette both on the buses and in the stations.

I live in Memphis and I love buses btw the 12 goes to airways and is the Mallory route and the 28 is the airport bus

Every time I travel down to Memphis it’s almost a rarity to see a damn bus. MATA service is horrible. The only thing that was consistently showing up was the Trolley on Main Street but you can walk faster than how it runs

The only frequent bus routes are the 40/400 - Stage Rd Local/Exp 50 - Poplar 32/320 - Walnut Grove But even then rush hour service is every 20 minutes and past downtown the roads become like highways to where bus stops are in ditches on the side of the roadways. Especially in Bartlett, Cordova, and Germantown

They originally had four batch of novabus lfs 1998 2000 2001 and 2002 first is the 1998 batch they order 39 bus from this batch number 800 to 838 then 80 more from the 2000 batch number 839 to 888 then 20 each from the 2001 and 2002 batch number 889 to 908 and 909 to 928 they started to retire there novabus lfs all of the 1998 batch were retired in 2013 then all of the 2000 batch we're retired probably in 2015 and then the 2001 batch in 2016 the last batch the 2002 novabus lfs we're being retired in 2017 Finaly the last of the 2002 batch number 928 was retired somewhere in early 2018.
