Buses in Oxford 18/03/2024

Buses in Oxford on 18th March 2024. Oxford Bus Company's new fleet of Wrightbus electrics is gradually entering service, with examples of all four variants now in use. With most of the StreetDecks for the main fleet yet to arrive, the majority of the older buses remain for now, but some cascades have started - both within the Oxford / Carousel / Thames Travel group and elsewhere within Go-Ahead.
Stagecoach West have also received a new batch of diesel Enviro400 MMCs while one of Redline's recent EvoRas is seen on the X20.
Replacement of the railway bridge over Botley Road has resulted in the closure of the road until October this year. Buses are terminating each side of the railway with route 400 running in two sections.

Very good video, I have plenty of other areas to photograph, having seen this, when I am in Oxford in a few months time. Cheers! David 😀 forgot to mention,that I am hoping to do more photography at Victoria Coach Station too, as well as Oxford.

Thanks! I also plan to return in a few months once Stagecoach have some of their Enviro400EVs in service, and might also consider a couple of locations slightly further out from the centre for that time.

Interesting video. Noted electric buses are British unlike my local bus company, Nottingham City Transport. They have just purchased 12 Youtongs with another 48 on order.
