Funny these overtorqued wheels. When i was an apprentice at a trailer shop there was a sticker right above the wheels that said torque to 565 ft/lbs. I asked the tech who was supervising me where the torque wrench was. He said no torque wrench, just hold the 1" drive impact gun trigger for 1 minute on each nut. I later looked up the model of impact specs and it puts out 1200 ft/lbs. lol

I’d imagine if you can get the individual pieces (v-band flairs, flex, 90 degree elbow, etc) it probably wouldn’t be all that difficult, or expensive to make that normally expensive exhaust piece. It would probably fit a little nicer than a pre-made off the shelf pipe, since it would be built specifically to fit the bus it was being put on.

I disagree. Just make sure the boost system works like it was designed. Thousands of trucks use boosted engines as well and they climb over mountain passes every day. Same for diesel-electric train locs. Ships use boosted engines as well. They cross entire oceans. Boosting is a proven concept. But all those engines do have to be maintained. This includes the boost system. No boost, no decent power.
