Anyone who thinks this sounds like Nirvana should have their commenting privileges revoked. That is like saying anyone who can dribble a basketball is Michael Jordan. BTW Razorblade Suitcase is one of the greatest CDs of the 90s, and distorted guitars and a screaming lead singer does not immediately make you a "grunge band." HAHA

I don't know where I'd rank _Razorblade Suitcase_ compared to lots of other CDs from that fairly-robust era, but yeah, writing them off as a Nirvana rip-off was always bullshit. The first record doesn't deserve that criticism and _Razorblade_ largely gets slammed with that because Steve Albini recorded _In Utero_. I think critics and hipsters just really want Bush to hold a role as an easy target because Gavin Rossdale was more good-looking and fit than the average crusty fuckhead in the rock music scene.

Bush was always much heavier than Nirvana. Nirvana was heavily influenced by punk. Same situation with Alice In Chains which could be better classified as a metal/hard rock band that just happened to come from Seattle.

The most under rated .and under aprecated bands in histery.not saying there the best band.but way up there with them..thay just dintent keep the band togerther long enough to go down in hestery as 1 of the best in histery..but in my apoiun thay are 1 off the best..just look haw many great songs that thay have in a short amont of time.how many songs on a albuem is great.thay rocked hard for 5 years.then the band was fighting so much thay were geting sued for not putting out anouther album.then thay did .and very short tore and broke up..alsum band i wush thay would of made more music .😢.i wish thay would get back togethet come out with a new album and a tour..or atleast get together to do anouther tour..my old a s s can go relive the old days 1 more time..thay were my last concert as a young man.and i know it.last moush pit i was in .i said at the cancert.this my last days of my youth were i dint look some dumb a ss trying to look like a kid wereing gold chains picking up chicks..this is the last time i did.then i put up the gold chains.stop chasing chicks.selttled down with my kid and girl.stoped cheeting ..and became a famaly man..but not till concert not till that summer ended..i think my last days of my youth was great becouse i knew it and hit it hard that year.31 years old at the time..that summer.i seen them last .but also seen perl jam .weezer.sound garden .a few rock fest with a bunch of bands.calt some old bands from the 70s as well.like 50 bands atleast that year with the festavles. Lots of clubs before thay all dyed.when thay were at peack..then rock stating falling out.not much good music ecetp for the 90s bands that were still making music.like perl jam.alsom to.love them.perle jam bush weezer were my top faverit bands at the time.after all that i dont kniw what hapoen to this country.the people .the entertartanment.the club secen .after 2000 i wacth the country and or rights and hole way of life go down.and where were at now..is fked upp.im a reble to old to fight for the couse..and i think thats what it is.once us the last tru genaration got to old to fight the coules it went to sttt.becouse when i was younger i refuesed to do what thay told me.still dont.but not stronger yung enough or have enough numbers to stop the crap anymore..1 last tour bush so i can bang some chicks drink some bears do some drugs .the kind we use to do.and punch a cupples of these leftest assshollees in the face.il show them feelings.and what it feels like. And relived the good old days 1 last time.😢.i miss you amreca.i miss you good times. This looks like rockfest at Texas motor speedway. I was omw home from a church trip in rockfest traffic. It looked like a crazy party. I would have givin anything to have been out there partying with them but I watched it from the window of a church bus

I dont They sound anything like Nirvana at all. If anything they sound more like Pearl Jam if anything.. And Pearl Jam's my most favorite band since the 70s. Zeppelin and pink lould then prel jam floud.perle is the led zepplen of the 90s.

Anyone with an actual ear for music can tell Gavin sounds nothing like Cobain. Same grunge style, sure. But vocally not even close. Kurt might have been the better guitar player, but Gavin's vocals are so much better. And the bands have totally different dynamics! Apples to oranges.

@@cursed7513 sure, Kurt was not that good, but that doesn’t mean that Gavin was not worse. That’s why his guitar was mixed so much lower that Nigel’s live. Being the only guitar player and singer in the band, is no small task. That’s why I consider Kurt better than Gavin at guitar. It doesn’t matter anyway.

A lot of rock listeners are perverse fucking morons who, for no good reason, _need_ to rank bands and musicians as if they're athletes or race-horses. Nirvana and Bush were both good bands who wrote solid music. Sure, Cobain's work is probably a bit more original in some ways, but Bush had a number of sonic elements that Nirvana didn't, particularly the guitar ideas.
