The 90s were awesome. The only people who would say otherwise either are idiots or weren't there.

+Olivavu I'm 21 and I'm all into the 90's alt-rock scenes. Bush were great. Look at my picture, Ride were the best band in that whole decade in my opinion, one of the best bands ever.

Dave Walker exactly it was the time everyone went to concerts for the music 🎵 not like now where x amount of people need to hold up their phone 📱 like their trying to record the concert. BTW I wander what happened to Nigel’s strat after the start of swallowed coz I noticed he went to his other strat cheers 🍻

He does. I used to live around the corner from him when I lived in Bristol. He seems to live a quiet happy life with his wife and kids.

Strange how we all hated them in the UK. Swallowed was a good song. It just seemed like he was unabashedly trying to be a poor man's Kurt Cobain, so we didn't believe him.

Hey said you would, I definitely sing this line better. But he wrote the song, because he is a genious Baby of Dare. Just mine. I m with everyone and yet none, but not quite, fuck no, it is an individual case with me. I alone in my zone gotta get away from here...!!!

Bush are better then nirvana!#! There said I don't care !! Bush were just better!!! I don't think they sound anything alike
@chrissayeranderson57104 жыл бұрын
I always thought that too. Nirvana were too pop oriented for me and if you really listen to Bush they don’t sound like Nirvana. They sounded like the pixies , pj harvey . The only song that may have sounded alike was swallowed and that was a stretch. It was just lazy journalism from critics and jealously especially in England when britpop was big Bush were playing music that didn’t sound anything like that. I do miss Nigel in the new lineup I liked his guitar sounds.

Glad I never got into this band... too square,too goodie goodie, thought by giving em a chance years later I'd find they were just as good as other bands I liked.. nope. Bush is like for the alternative style females...

@grungefreak1848 жыл бұрын
They are not a ripoff. Maybe they once said that they wanted to be like Nirvana, but they are not a ripoff. They make their own music. Bush is just Bush and Bush is not Nirvana.

Two examples out of how many songs? He was/is a basic bass player, no offense. Tight, though.
@mariorsl7 жыл бұрын
I'm not saying he was a Jaco Pastorius, a Victor Wooten, or Flea... But once you're comparing wiht Nirvana, all i'm saying is he's not too far from Krist. But hey, each one have their own style and technique (or lack of it.. :P)
@Imsuchaliar7 жыл бұрын
I think Krist is way more accomplished, honestly. His bass lines are not as simple as they seem to be. But whatever. I wonder if Dave Parsons' influence for becoming a bass player is Sid Vicious or not (both never picked up a guitar before they started playing bass)...Bush have always admitted the Pistols influence and even covered them. The myth is Sid couldn't play at all. Well...it's not true. He was not good, but to be fair, he was only starting out when he found himself in the spotlight! He mostly played root note bass lines, with sometimes a jump to the upper octave. Of course, he was all over the place - sloppy, jumping around, being wasted. But he mostly played the right notes on the shows where the bass is turned up. He would have gotten better, I think, had he sobered up and played more overtime. One good thing for Dave Parsons : basic bass lines, but no sloppiness. lol
