My god. When GWB was in office I thought he was a terrible president with an even worse vice president. What i wouldn't give to have had the last four years with a president who feels empathy, a kind, decent hardworking family man, who, despite misguided policies, would never put himself or his party above his country. Who would never indulge in petty insults and name calling. And the warm relationship between them and the Obamas literally brings tears to my eyes. GWB, I have a new appreciation for you.

Thank you Mark Davis, for reminding us that there are still people brimming with such hatred in this world. Every now and again I find myself looking at the glass half full, but thank heavens someone like you comes along and sets everyone straight. I'm sure that we must not even deserve or even have the right to stand in your shadow, let alone your grace. What a burden it must be to have to go through life with such evil and hatred where one's heart and soul should be. I pray for people like you; that you some how, some way, will find peace at some point. I pray daily for dreams, prayers, and miracles to come true, yes even for you. However first you must master humility, dignity, respect and honor, and you must eventually realize that sometimes there is a peace that can only be found on the other side of war. Please, a bit of advice; try earnestly to avoid in the future speaking of a man like President George W. Bush. I understand that like all of us, he made and continues to make mistakes on the road of life, but if you need to vent your internal anger and despair towards or about someone, choose someone like myself or better yet like your own self, for you are not even in remotely near a level of honor, courage, dignity, loyalty, and dedication as that of President Bush and trying to appear so just makes you look so small, petty, and sad. I wish you nothing but the best in your future, but I fear that itself is something that you wouldn't wish upon any mortal man, not even yourself. Thank you again for reminding us that you are still out there somewhere. Its a lesson we sometime forget in our efforts to see a brighter future, derived from respect for our past.
