2 year down the line , is the pack still holding up mate? Tossing up between this and a stone glacier.

hi @@jockosmocko4480 I personally don’t own the pack any more as I didn’t find it very comfortable with a heavy load but maybe it’s just me. I now have the Tatonka Norix 48 and the Tatonka bison, 90+10 and can’t complain at all about them.

Thanks for the review. I know its quite old but like you said there isn't any real information out about this pack and even Bushbuck don't have the best video on it. It seems very military inspired, which is why I'm probably attracted to it. Thanks again for the review.

Thanks for the vid. Considering getting this pack and always helpful to have a user review video. How is the airflow on the back panel? Being quite the heavy sweater going uphill I usually get a pack with a mesh panel for airflow. Also how did you find the padding on the hip belt, some reviews say it could do with a bit more padding? And maybe it's just me but by the looks of it I think you haven't got a very good fit there. I believe your hip belt should be quite a bit lower on your body cupping your hip bones and taking the weight of your shoulders. Give that a try and you might find carrying a heavy load to be a bit more comfy and less strenuous on the shoulders. Cheers.

Hi , thanks for the information as I may possibly not have it sitting right . They way it’s currently set up seems to be most for me . On a full load (with meat ) it does pinch my hips a little ( possibly more padding may fix that? ) but when I’m only carrying my gear it sits comfortable with no issues. The air flow I find its pretty good but I also don’t sweat a lot so that’s probably not super helpful for ya .

Caught in two minds here mate, looking at the Destroyer, but heard some good reviews about the Tatonka Bison 70 +10, any advice/thoughts. Loved your review

Hi , it will most likely come down to personal preference . I haven’t personally owned a Tatonka so can’t really comment to much about them . The only reason I decided to try the bushbuck pack was it was more suited to what I wanted . As for pocket location, rifle scabbard, external meat shelf and having slightly quite fabric on the outside. It’s also still holding up well . Hope that helps you out . If none of that is necessary for you I’d also look at the osprey , they are known to be one of the most comfortable packs .

Hi mate. I'm looking at buying this pack. Have you done many hours with this pack? How is it holding up?

J Calo hi , I’ve had for about 6 months now and have used it a fair bit with more then a few times fully loaded. So far it’s still holding up good . Can’t complain . I’ve just got the quick release rifle scabbard last week so I’m pretty keen to test it out and see how that goes

Great review mate! What’s the pack material like? From the website photos it seems almost like a furry texture? Is it holding up well?

Hi Sam . It’s sort feels similar to suede leather on the outside. Yes so far it’s holding up good .
