Good video Josh! I was looking at this tent to put over my tub, but concerned that is was long and would overhang too much. So good to see it in your video. I noticed you mounted it in reverse - high end to front. Which I was also planning to do as well. I was also planning to buy a RHS opening one. Do you think that is the best configuration, noting it looks like you removed an awning from the roof rack to do this? RHS opening seems standard and future proof if I were to add a canopy in future and go with larger awning on passenger side. But I'm now wondering if LHS opening would be best. Any advice. Hey Steve! Thanks for watching and commenting mate. They are a great RTT. I mounted mine in reverse as I thought it looked better. There is a small overhang over the end of the tailgate but only 10cm. I did remove my awning however after the video I got a smaller awning and could attach that to my cars roof rack. It doesn't really matter which side it pops out of to be honest, I just did it for personal preference.

Considering a Hilux tub dimensions are 1840 by 1540. I would like to know how you got a bushbuck roof tent on your car when its 2100 by 1500 without the tent being specially made. How much did it cost to get the tent specially made?

Hey Mate - the bushbuck RTT comes in two sizes and mine is 1.5 X 2m. There is a slight overhand at the back of my tailgate of about 5-10cm. Thats how I was able to make it fit. It looks pretty epic and works really well. If you watch a few of my newest videos you'll see it in action. Hope that cleared it up for you.
